My wife and I were in long beach while on vacation and luckily we came across The Potholder Cafe Downtown during our travels.
To this day my wife goes out of her way to talk about the fruity pebbles French toast she ordered.
My meal was great as well, and the mimosas were the icing on the cake.
I’d highly recommend you check this place out, I hope to make it back in the future!

We had a really good experience here! The food is pretty good, and the atmosphere is really warm and friendly. The servers were super nice, the food came out really quickly, standard breakfast diner fare with Southern California texmex options. Would totally recommend!

Prices are better than IHOP! HUGE menus. The lady was very sweet to those who are on a budget, hungry, have allergies and make sure your meal is what you want! She’s patient and kind with all customers making sure they get the best experience to their comfort. Finally found a place that I truly like!

Came here for breakfast the other day, and must say the few times I’ve been here, it’s always been good. Nice portions. Good service.
This past visit not so much.
Food was great, been better before.
But I ordered an iced tea, and the server returned to let me know they forgot to brew it. So I got a club soda instead.
But never got a refill.
Sat at the counter. It was slow. But the servers were too busy chatting or doing roll ups.

I was invited to join in for a breakfast lunch, the restaurant was very quiet, clean, and organized. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We had a fantastic breakfast at The Potholder Too in Long Beach! We ordered the Popeye and the Grand Prix omelettes, and both were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making the whole experience even better. It’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite.
