Wow! We found this jewel of a local restaurant in Kingsland, Tx. The four of us each ordered different entrees and different deserts and we were all blown away. The food and the service were both incredible! We even ordered additional deserts to take with us.

I wish zero stars was a rating option!!!! I came for a baked potatoe and after waiting 22 minutes went to the counter to see the status of my potato, she rudely told me they cook them to order & I was a few orders behind people dining in. Everyone had their food!!! So I let her know she should warn customers they’re going to take an hour to bake said potatoe! & That her tank top was against health code inside the cooking area! As well as having children roam freely though the food preparation area and to keep their 12$ potato! Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy!

We live next-door to the potato shack and we love going over there and eating from the wonderful food that James and Robin prepare. We have even had them cater some parties for us and everyone at the party always gives raving compliments. I need to go out on the evenings that they have Saturday music that’s fabulous it’s a BYOB, and then eat from there great food great entertainment and great owners of the potato shack; Robin and James.
