I tried this place for the first time on 12/19/2024 after hearing so much about this place on the radio. They have different types of stuffed potatoes to choose from. Their menu has a list of stuffed potato options, but they also advertise other types when you walk in. I ordered the stuffed potato with fried shrimp. Omg…so good! My order was made to order. I initially was going to order my meal to go, but I couldn’t resist so I dined in to eat. The potato was nice and hot, and the shrimps were a nice size and freshly fried. All of that goodness in the stuffed potato paired with the fried shrimp was so delicious! I’m looking forward to returning to try another stuffed potato option.

First of all the potatoes are HUGE! Secondly, service is super fast, only about 10 minutes to prepare my order. But most importantly, they are DELICIOUS!! I got the shrimp Alfredo potato, and let me tell you it’s one of the best I’ve ever had!! So much sauce and a good portion of shrimp on the potato, I can’t wait to go back! Putting Alfredo sauce on a potato is brilliant!

We had the crawfish etouffee baked potato and the bbq brisket baked potato. Both were amazing and its a lot of food! We also had the boudin eggrolls and cheesecake eggrolls and we thoroughly enjoyed them both as well. The boudin eggrolls were some of the best I’ve had. We ate in and everything was brought in to go containers so it made it easy to bring leftovers home! Will go again.

I ordered two cheeseburger potatoes totaling little over $30 bucks. Presentation was great but the potato lacked taste. I do dn’t taste the butter nor seasoning, just bland. It was supposed to come with jalapeño slices on the side, but it wasn’t in the bag. That probably would’ve helped give flavor.

Stopped here while on a road trip. I had the broccoli cheese potato, which was incredible. This was the kind of food that you have on vacation and wished you could have it back home! The owners are free to come open a second location in Orlando!

I was visiting for work in Lafayette a week or 2 ago and forgot to make this review, but this was by far my FAVORITE place I ate while visiting. I’m from Houston, we have very diverse food options, but let me tell you I was in Cajun food heaven in Louisiana! My nickname has been Ash Potatoes since hs, so you can imagine my excitement stumbling upon this place. Not only was the staff super friendly, but the food was absolutely amazing! We had the crawfish ètouffèe and the boudin baked potatoes and they were just as mouth wateringly delicious as they sound. This is definitely going to be a staple every time I visit. Highly recommend checking it out! Only thing I’d say is I wish they had some merch available to take home! I feel like they’d benefit greatly from having some potato themed merch! I stopped by Potato Place on a Friday and it was my first time definitely won’t be my last! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-tier. Erick, the host/cashier, was absolutely amazing—super friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel really welcoming, WOW. I tried the Mexican and Buffalo Chicken potatoes and both were packed with flavor, hot, fresh, and loaded just right.

This place is absolutely delicious! I think it’s one of those places that if you live here, you sort of forget about at times but then when you remember and come back, it’s a nice welcome back to tastiness! Their menu has definitely expanded within the years and you won’t see me complaining about that! Very friendly staff as well which is always a plus! They have a little station of salt, pepper, Tony’s (us southerners love our seasoning!) for you after you receive your food so you can add all that if you would like. If I’m not mistaken I believe sour cream, tomatoes, and chives come with every potatoe but ask to make sure! It came with mine already which was the ham and cheese. I’ve been here multiple times and will definitely be back! ESPECIALLY since they have that larger menu! 😉
