Good chicken fried steak. Liked the mashed potatoes. Decent portions for the price. Very fast and friendly service. The desserts (brownie and some cookies) were great.

Cute place! Can’t miss it for the huge helicopter out front. Staff was friendly, with great food prices, and the food was delicious! My family of six ordered chicken fried steak and eggs, the dinner chicken fried steak, avacado toast, chicken tenders with fries, kids pancake with bacon, and kids chicken with fries. If we were traveling this way again, we would definitely stop back by. They also had a dessert cabinet. They looked good, but we didn’t get anything.

This is the third time that I’ve been to this place for Breakfast. It does take a rather long time to receive your food. However, I went in and placed my order, sat down at my table watched three other tables get served their food before mine. So then I asked where is my food they asked me what did I order. I went on a hungry stomach. I recommend don’t go to this place. If you’re in a hurry, poor Service.

We went in for lunch. It was pretty busy that day. It took the staff quite awhile to get tables cleared and wiped off. The chicken fried steak was great! But it took an hour and 15 minutes for them to get us our food. We weren’t very pleased by the slowness. Then they ran out of white gravy, so I had to pick brown gravy for my mashed taters. We had a child with us, so it was getting pretty western waiting for so long to even get her food. The staff was friendly for sure, just was suboptimal getting our food. Luckily we had 2 hours to kill, but didn’t want to spend it sitting there waiting.

This is the VFW post/restaurant that caters to veterans and the public alike. I was passing through town and search of breakfast specifically a breakfast burrito. I was not disappointed with my selection. They also have full-size replica Apache gunship in the parking lot which is awesome. They offer multiple meats in the burrito for a slight up charge. The price was fair. I went with bacon and sausage burrito average in size. The tortilla was fine. The burrito consisted of bacon, sausage, cheese, green chiles and cubed potatoes. The cheese was melted and stringy. Overall a good breakfast burrito. I wish the green chili was spicier and more prevalent. Staff provided great service and small town hospitality. Shout out to our veterans.

Yearly roadtrip from Michigan to Southwest Utah. Great little VA stop off of I-70 West in a tiny town. No frills. Mom and pop Good food. Good drinks. Friendly service. Cool military helicopter flying around was a neat thing to see.

I gave the atmosphere 5 stars because the people there were cool. Vibe was low key and unassuming.

Haha. made you look. No, the helicopter was not flying around. It was still cool.

Seeing that this was run by the VFW I had high hopes for good service and good food. Unfortunately this was the worst service. I think I’ve ever had eating out in my life. The sign says seat yourself and your server will be right with you. I sat down and waited for 20 minutes and then had to go to the front and ask if anyone was gonna bring me a menu they acted put out the ladies next to me have been sitting there already received their food, but I’ve never received their drink. Do better VFW or whoever is running this place. Luckily the food was edible at least barely.. very very disappointed

We stopped in From vacation. There are not very many options for a long time in the area. The outside was inviting with the helicopter out front. They had prime rib and ri. No for the specials. We chose to split the prime rib. I thought it looked like a ribeye with prime seasoning . Another special was the cheesy vegetable. I’m sure they took canned broccoli cheese soup and added carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, but it was my favorite of the meal. I left the sweet potato fries uneaten. They were limp and soggy. The hubs mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty. I wish I had gotten those instead. The margarita was perfect and as well, the California Bull cocktail. Nicole was our waitress and she was very attentive to our needs

This was a great surprise suggested by a local. We got there 5 minutes before they were closing, but got a wonderful meal. I had crispy chili rellenos and eggs with hash browns and salad. The other meal was a cheese and mushroom omelette and more. Look for the helicopter.
