Drove in from Meridian. This place was absolutely the best steak I had in Mississippi!!! The staff was more than professional making sure we had everything we needed. The Filet was very moist and so tender I could use a fork to cut it. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was so fresh it melted in your mouth. Finally the desert cheesecake options topped it off with three different choices! Great time spent in Philadelphia, MS!

I got a to go order from there and the food was really good. The service and atmosphere were just as excellent. However, the size portions compared to the price of the food was not it. My sides were more like taste samples. I ordered the grilled asparagus and sweet potato. The sweet potato was about 4in long and I got about five strands of asparagus. All in total my order was $36 and I just can’t justify the given price with the amount of food, but other than that everything was good.

First time at Porterhouse. Everyone was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was good. The best part of our experience was our server Dazz! He was very attentive and personable. Haven’t had great customer service like that in a long time. I would return in the future.

I was very impressed with this little place. The service was wonderful. Our group had a variety of meals, all of which were excellent. The ribeye was delicious and well cooked. The chicken pasta was delicious, and the red fish was cooked perfectly.

Waitress did a good job and look of place was nice. BUT!!!!!!! The food was horrible without the heavy price. One of the most expensive meals we have ordered and was the worst by far. We waited for over an hour for our food and when it came out my grits were cold and solid to the point u had to cut them into pieces and the one piece of catfish tasted like rotten chicken. Now they did offer to cook another meal but we didn’t have another hour or more to fix it.

Service is very slow and almost like they ignore you until they take you order. Second time here and both times we had to wait over 15 minutes after being seated to get our drink orders ordered. For the prices I’d expect way better service.
