The food was pretty good, not the best but okay. Nothing exciting. I had the charbroiled oysters and my wife had the shrimp etouffe potato. It’s self service which was a bummer. The staff was nice though.

I have so much to say! I’m from Houston Texas and was looking for some good seafood and I found this place on Google. I went around lunchtime and a worker by the name of Chris helped me. This guy is most amazing. I am super huge on Customer Service. I go around lunchtime when they’re just opening so he’s typically the only one there but my goodness, he is so personable, humbling and have such a good heart not to mention, the food.!!!!! He cooks the food to perfection, it is so delicious! I also had the opportunity to meet the owner Richard and he was a really good guy who is also big on Customer Service. This is my favorite piece of all.
I’ve had the shrimp salad when I was trying to eat better, lol, I’ve had the étouffée with catfish over rice, I’ve had the fried seafood platter, and I’ve had the salmon, all freaking delicious !!!!!!!

Small seafood spot inside the Horseshoe Casino with massive portions and fresh-to-order food. Great value for the price, plus free karaoke entertainment right across the way. A fun and tasty find!

Went here for dinner one night and were seated immediately. You don’t get a personal waiter but you grab the menu off the bar and then order there which is fine but something to keep in mind. Now as for the food, it tasted alright at the start but the chicken started tasting dicey as if it had gone bad . I politely let the server at the bar know so that hopefully, no one else gets spoilt chicken and they were grateful for the feedback!

Yes lawd, this was some of the best catfish and fried oysters I had in a while. The fried fish, fried oysters and fries was bussin, as the young kids say! Me and husband came here based upon other reviews we read. They did not disappoint. The service was nice. My husband had on a Dallas Cowboy hoodie, they was messing with him hard lol. I was entertained. Great food and great people I will be back!

I had the big plate mixed with everything. It was literally THE BEST SEAFOOD I’VE EVER HAD!! it was oozing with flavor and it cost $30 bucks bit man it was worth it!! It was easily worth $80 bucks imo and I got a Long Island from the bar and it was also the most tasty and toxic one I’ve ever had!!

We came over from Texas thinking we knew what good fried catfish and shrimp tasted like. We were confident. We were proud. We were slightly wrong.

The Port Seafood and Oyster Bar at Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City completely changed the game for us.

The fried catfish was perfectly crispy with that golden crunch that sings when you bite into it. Inside it was tender flaky and full of flavor. Not greasy not heavy just seasoned exactly how it should be.

The shrimp were seasoned like somebody in that kitchen truly cares about flavor. Every bite had that Louisiana kick that makes you close your eyes for a second. It was delicious and the portions were more than generous. They do not believe in small servings here and we appreciate that.

And Jerome the cook deserves his flowers. Jerome you put your foot in that food in the best way possible. You can tell it is cooked with pride and skill.

The atmosphere was welcoming the food was plentiful and the taste was unforgettable. If you are anywhere near Bossier Louisiana do yourself a favor and stop by The Port at Horseshoe Casino. Just be prepared to rethink everything you thought you knew about fried seafood

Thanks Jerome keep up the great work.

I wouldn’t call this luxurious. I ordered standing and paid for my food before I went to look for a table to sit down. We got our drinks. Food was subpar and food presentation was just thrown together.

I ordered a 1/2 doz charbroil oyster and it was ok. I got chicken K Jun. The chicken and broccoli was well seasoned. The chicken was dry and the rice was old and not even warm.

The Chef’s port special was basically etoufee on a potato. It was well seasoned. The shrimp was well fried. I liked the crunch

It’s definitely not worth $72 and I was disappointed. I guess that’s casino food.
