I’ve had the shrimp salad when I was trying to eat better, lol, I’ve had the étouffée with catfish over rice, I’ve had the fried seafood platter, and I’ve had the salmon, all freaking delicious !!!!!!!
The Port Seafood and Oyster Bar at Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City completely changed the game for us.
The fried catfish was perfectly crispy with that golden crunch that sings when you bite into it. Inside it was tender flaky and full of flavor. Not greasy not heavy just seasoned exactly how it should be.
The shrimp were seasoned like somebody in that kitchen truly cares about flavor. Every bite had that Louisiana kick that makes you close your eyes for a second. It was delicious and the portions were more than generous. They do not believe in small servings here and we appreciate that.
And Jerome the cook deserves his flowers. Jerome you put your foot in that food in the best way possible. You can tell it is cooked with pride and skill.
The atmosphere was welcoming the food was plentiful and the taste was unforgettable. If you are anywhere near Bossier Louisiana do yourself a favor and stop by The Port at Horseshoe Casino. Just be prepared to rethink everything you thought you knew about fried seafood
Thanks Jerome keep up the great work.
I ordered a 1/2 doz charbroil oyster and it was ok. I got chicken K Jun. The chicken and broccoli was well seasoned. The chicken was dry and the rice was old and not even warm.
The Chef’s port special was basically etoufee on a potato. It was well seasoned. The shrimp was well fried. I liked the crunch
It’s definitely not worth $72 and I was disappointed. I guess that’s casino food.
