Camped at Fayette and got in late. Everything in town was closed and the bars kitchen was already shut down. They were kind enough to call down to The Port for us even though they were closing.
We got there starving and not expecting much. Thankfully we were wrong. Best white fish I had on the whole trip. Cheese curds were amazing. The bar tender was also our waitress and cook. We were the only customers and had a great time. If I ever go back to camp or visit I’d definitely stop again.

Arriving late after camping at Fayette, we hit the typical traveler’s snag: every kitchen in town was closed. Our gratitude goes first to the kindness of a nearby bar, who, despite closing themselves, took the initiative to call ahead to The Port for us.
We pulled up starving and prepared for mediocrity, but we were wonderfully mistaken. The experience was anchored by a single, phenomenal staff member who seamlessly handled the roles of bartender, waitress, and chef for us, the only remaining customers. This level of dedication alone deserves five stars.
The food, however, was the genuine shock. The white fish was, without a doubt, the best I had encountered on the entire trip—perfectly flaky and flavorful. Their cheese curds were equally sublime, achieving that ideal golden crunch and salty-cheesy goodness. This was a late-night meal of surprisingly gourmet quality.
The Port not only provided exceptional food and drink but demonstrated unparalleled hospitality. If I ever find myself camping nearby or passing through, stopping here will be a mandatory priority.

Wonderful vibe, had a nice quiet lunch while waiting out the rain. The fish and fries were perfectly crisp and delicious. Also loved the pickle soup! Hope to come again next time we’re around!

After going to the State Park, we were starving and this was perfect! My wife is gluten-free and they made special accommodations to make sure she got what she needed and were very kind about it! The pasty I ordered was great! The atmosphere and staff and patrons were welcoming and fun.

Unfortunately this was the only option to get dinner as everything else was closed or quite a distance away. I say unfortunately because the service was so poor and the food gave me bubble guts. I called ahead to order two wraps with fries which brought me to about $45, which is insane. The lady on the phone answered the phone with I DONT HAVE WHITE FISH! No hi, no hello what can I get you. When I got there to pick it up I stood in front of my order at the bar and the waitress behind the counter would not even look up to acknowledge me. I waited there for probably 10 mins until someone from the back finally came out and rudely said THIS YOURS? Would not recommend.

Our family had lunch here today, the food was excellent, and our server and cook Gloria prepared our food and was great company as well. We highly recommend the Port Fries, Whitefish, and chicken. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. We will definitely come back again.
