This was our first time eating here. I just randomly saw it driving home the other day, so we wanted to try it. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which was very tasty, with a side of fries. Fries were okay. The other dish was the chicken fried steak. It was pretty good and it came out steaming hot. I would definitely try this place again and I would order something else, just to try it.

As a real estate agent, I pride myself by knowing all the amazing places to eat, shop & hang out in my local areas. The Porch has quickly become a favorite! The food options are great, the staff is always friendly & the service is top notch! We’ve been here several times recently and have even invited friends to come try this place out. It’s a great location for a business meeting as well. I try something new every time I go and I have yet to be disappointed.

I went with my family for breakfast and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. The price was surprisingly reasonable. The restaurant gave off a cafe/homey vibe that was nice. They sell lunch all day in case anyone doesn’t want breakfast. I look forward to visiting for lunch.

LOVE this place. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t great and the service has always been friendly and attentive!
That’s eggs, sausage, and hash browns on top of a biscuit that could be a meal by itself. I didn’t need that big, fluffy pancake that I ordered yo go with it, but I dang sure ate every bite of it!

Food was awful, missing items we ordered (ham for 2 orders and an order of biscuits with sausage gravy) biscuits were burnt, eggs not scrambled well – pieces of white and yellow cooked without actually scrambling them. First time we’ve eaten this place and it will definitely be the last. We ordered a total of 5 meals. The only decent thing a were the pancakes. I ended up having to cook breakfast for everyone anyways because it was so bad no one would eat it.

I finally had the chance to try the original Porch restaurant. If you haven’t been, you’re missing a real gem. Their service is impeccable and the food is worth bragging about. I especially want to brag about the Chicken Fried Bacon. I have never had anything quite like it. I also ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with a side salad and mashed potatoes. The amount of leftovers make another whole meal.

Great prices and friendly staff! The Food was wonderful too.
The women’s restroom was a single room (no stall) with a diaper changing table. So no worries about a young child trying to escape a stall.

This restaurant is family owned family oriented as soon as you walk in the door and when you leave you feel a part of it! Hands down the best taco salad I ever had with their special Cajun Ranch it’s a must try place, definitely will not let you down!

This is my new go to breakfast spot, great food, phenomenal service, super friendly people, and it’s got a dog friendly porch! I could not ask for a better experience. 10/10 will definitely be coming back! And whoever decided to combine buffalo chicken and blueberry waffles was an absolute genius! Oh my god, so delicious!

I drove by this quaint little place oh about 3 months ago. I’ve lived in Arlington since 96. And never new this place existed. Granted it’s only been here for 15 years. But it’s down a little road I never needed to travel on.
Anyway. I finally had my husband and my 78 year ole momma together at the same time. And decided to take them here.
Best choice ever!
Sonia. The manager/server was absolutely the best. So attentive, but not overbearing in the least. The food was really good. My husband never finishes his plates of food. But he surely finished his food on that day. And it was no little serving either. It was the big fried streak with onions & peppers. Plus his two sides. The man was happily miserable for the rest of the day. I didn’t have to cook another meal that day. My mother & I both took a slice of pie home. The serving size was not to shabby. And OHHH so delicious . My mom wants to go back and just have pie.
All three of us highly recommend going here. It was clean & fresh.
You won’t be disappointed.
