While visiting from IN, we went to the Pondy three times and everyone was so friendly and the bartenders and waitresses we’re attentive and knew their drinks. We were there during Applefest and so they were busy but it didn’t matter, you were offered a new drink as soon as yours was empty. I hope we can visit again for sure.

Should a dive get 4 stars for being the most dive bar I’ve found on the Western Slope? Giving such a rating may change the atmosphere, walking into the dartender standing on the bar was a delight!

It was alright. The bar tender fell asleep standing up. Was concerned. When at a bar want to relax not worry about the health of the employee. Then when leaving my 6’3″ husband hit his head on the doorway when exiting. He brushed it off and was fine but it could have been bad if busted head open. We just left his grandpa’s funeral.. would have sucked to spend the time meant for family in the er for stitches.
