We came for the “midweek dinner for two” special and were blown away by the quality and taste of everything that was served.
The elegance of this restaurant is something you would only expect to find in a big city. Awesome hidden gem here in Wheeling, West Virginia with an awesome staff!
As of the time of this review, the dinner for two comes with a shared chopped salad, two 6oz steak filets, mashed potatoes and asparagus.
Every ingredient was fresh and organic, the highest quality possible.
Matched with easily the one of most delectable steak and mashed potatoes we’ve ever had.
The icing on the cake is literally the most freshest delicious strawberry shortcake you’ve ever had.
Great environment for an intimate date with your special someone!
We look forward to returning.

We ordered our dinner ( 1 plate to share) with an appetizer. @ 5:45. We received our dinner at 7:50. We were told there were a lot of take out orders. We will not return. I believe seated guests should not wait 2 hrs while take out is served first. Tables can turn over faster if people are served in a reasonable time. However, the food was good.

probably the best restaurant in Wheeling. As far as steaks go, you will not find a better one. As far as drinks they are strong, the best specialty drinks around. Our server, Tammy, was incredible. Definitely will recommend to anyone and everyone based on my experience here.
we have tried every “new” and classic restaurant around Wheeling area but discluded the casino, but we wanted to try it. The prime rib was fantastic, the NY strip was grilled to perfection and has a great crust/seasoning.
Totally blown away! Someone else said that this restaurant was on par with Columbus or Pittsburgh steakhouses and I would have to agree.

I’m really disappointed with our recent experience. My credit card was run and I received a receipt. After we got home, they called saying there was an issue — even though my bank showed the charge as pending. They then ran my card again for a different amount. I tried calling back, but they rarely answer the phone and you have to leave messages.
I was told the extra charge would be voided, but there’s still no void showing in my bank account. I was repeatedly assured it would all be fine, but this situation has been stressful and confusing.
We had a party of 10, and unfortunately the entire process felt very disorganized and unprofessional.
What makes this especially disappointing is that we’ve used this venue very frequently for our office staff get-togethers. Because of this experience, we will definitely be finding a different venue in the future.

I didn’t expect much (because the rest of the casino doesn’t have great food options) but the food was actually incredible. My steak tasted better than some high end steakhouses I’ve eaten at in big cities. Solid menu and the sides were also perfect.
The dining room feels a bit small if they are busy and it’s strange you have to walk back out through the casino to use the restroom but I definitely think this place did a great job.

AMAZING lobster Mac and cheese!! Josh makes it creamy, flavorful with lots of lobster. After the concerts, it is our habit to slip in here. Get a back booth with Seirra as our waitress and indulge ourselves. Fantastic service, atmosphere and people!

This place was amazing for so many years and then it had a run of not being so amazing. My wife and I went last evening for our anniversary and it again is fantastic. Food was great, service was good and the place is bright. The only issue is walking through the nicotine fog to get there.

Have been going to Wheeling for many years but have never went to The Pointe. Our experience was extraordinary and we will most certainly return. From the service to the food was absolutely superb. Our group of 6 were promptly seated and served immediately. I ordered the caprese salad as a starter and it was perfect. My main was the halibut with risotto and was truly one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. The rest of the group all ordered steak and they all were cooked to perfection. Our server was so sweet and her service was impeccable. The restauraunt manager was so kind and inviting. I suggest if you are visiting Wheeling most definitely go to The Pointe as i can not wait to go back.
