Staying at the turtle bay resort for our honeymoon and have been trying all the restaurants. Came here for drinks and a beautiful sunset! The service was friendly and very good. My husband got a lava flow with a rum float on top. We enjoyed drinks from the same bar all day at the pool. We went back for dinner the next night. We went around 7:30 and it wasn’t too busy. We actually took out food to go as we had a long day. The bar tender was very friendly and our food came extremely quick! I ordered the mahi mahi fish tacos from the small plates menu and my husband had the double smash burger with fries. I didn’t get a picture of the burger cause my husband devoured it- he loved it ! The tacos come with 2 and a third can be added for $10, but two was enough for me. Doesn’t come with a side. The fish is delicious ! Highly recommend for food and or drinks and great beach views!

Great service, very attentive and friendly. Food was all very solid, drinks good. It’s a little pricey but it’s a resort so that just comes with the territory. Excellent live music most nights starting around sunset. If you are staying at turtle bay, this is the place to be for happy hour and sunset.

We were 5 with 5 orders of mains, one appetizer. After waiting for more than 30 mins, all came out at once (waitress disappeared during most of that time). Only 4 mains came. The missing was a Caesar salad, and though we sat eating for another 30 mins they didn’t manage to make the second Cesar salad come. Disgraceful. Will not be back. The food that did come was ok, but having one person completely miss a meal is inexcusable, I’ve never experienced it anywhere else.

The food is poor quality and very overpriced: we had a $15 Mac and cheese that was exactly the one made out of a $4 box and a $20 grilled chicken breast with no side dish that came on a leaf of old salad. All these were from the kids menu. A glass of margarita was $26. The waitress was very nice and the location excellent. Due to no other options available in the resort I doubt they even care about quality.

Food poisoning, terrible waitress, over priced food, beautiful view.
My husband and I both ordered a burger, one vegetarian, one double regular, both of us got very sick. Luckily the mini market in the hotel has a bunch of medicine available.
Our waitress only showed up to take our order and drop off our drinks. Someone else dropped off our food and our waitress never came back. She had her back turned to us, and hung out in the bar chatting with her coworkers. We had to go to the bar to order more drinks and she intercepted us as we approached the bar. I noticed the table next to us had a great waitress, she checked on her tables often.
As expected, the prices were insane.

Vinnie and Eddie were fantastic, they make you feel so welcome. The drinks are as amazing as the views!

Amazing view of the ocean. Ryan and Eddie were great bartenders. They have a great lobster roll. It’s a little pricey, but it’s inside the Ritz.

My son and I visited this resort the other day, to meet up with some friends. We had some time to kill, so we sat at the bar in the lobby named “Off the Lip”; he had something called a Shark Bite, and I had a Mai Tai. Each drink cost around $25, which is probably the most I’ve ever paid for a drink, in my life. Since the resort is allegedly exclusive, I expected a lot.
Also, just so you know, my son is 21, and both of us are alcohol light-weights. Both of us will normally fall asleep after just one beer, so these drinks were, for us, considered heavy drinking. On top of it, we both had an eaten since breakfast, and it was 3 PM, so we both had empty stomachs and were starving. So we ordered the drinks, and I could tell right away there wasn’t much alcohol in them. 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, finally our friends show up, and neither me or my son feel anything from the drinks. In both our experiences, we should’ve been semi-drunk, but both of us were totally unaffected, which means there is barely any alcohol (if any) in either of those drinks. We paid $50 for two Shirley Temples, I guess. Looking at the menu, there should have been two shots in each drink:
Shark Bite:
Dewers 12yr Blended Scotch, Laphroaig 10yr, etc
Turtle Bay Mai Tai:
Plantation Rum, Old Lahaina Dark Rum, Orgeat, Ferrand Dry Curaçao, etc
Anyway, we didn’t stay at the resort or eat, this review is only for the bar in the lobby. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel we got scammed. When both my son and I order drinks and don’t feel a thing, then I know we got scammed. Believe me, I have one light beer and I get dizzy and tired.

The best restaurant to eat at at the Turtle Bay Resort is their Sunset Bar by their pool. It’s an ideal setting to enjoy a hamburger, poke or a salad and a drink while watching the dun set!

Service was terrible. Food was terrible came to us ice cold. The only bright spot was the gentleman playing live music. Beautiful voice and funny.
