The Point is a great spot for game day or just a casual bite! The food menu has great variety and everything we ordered was delicious. A few favorites included the buffalo chicken wings, the garlic fries were perfectly crispy and a must try is the pretzel with beer cheese.
They have a solid drink selection, and we really enjoyed the ice-cold tap beers and the refreshing Aperol Spritz. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a sports bar—lively, comfortable, and plenty of screens. Great service and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Come for the delicious food and wide selection of drinks and stay for the absolute immaculate vibes and atmosphere. I’m frustrated with the no reservations allowed, unless a bigger party. The last 4 times I’ve been there, I see reservation signs. So why can’t I? I was told because they are friends of the bartender. Seems there is a double standard. Next comes the owner saying I can’t pull 2 tables together, for my friends who are coming. I understand if there are people waiting. Today about 25% was reserved. Just shaking my head.

Extremely rude staff. My family, and others came in to watch a football game. As this game was imported to us, we asked the staff to turn down the music and turn on the game volume. The staff told us the people sitting at the bar wanted to hear the music instead. When the people at the bar left, we asked again and instead of simply saying no they asked us to “ask nicely”. What a weird thing to say to your customer. Super condescending. After the employees continuing to be weirdly sassy, we threatened to leave a bad review. This is when a manager I think? came up to us and decided she wanted to start a fight. I have never experienced anything like this over simply asking to turn the volume on of a sports game at a SPORTS bar. Do not come here if you want to enjoy sports lol. (Side note the place also smelt like barf)

Thank you for the response, but this explanation is simply not accurate. At no point during our visit were we told there were any “technical difficulties” with the TVs. Instead, staff told us the bar guests wanted to listen to music and later made the bizarre and condescending comment that we needed to “ask nicely.” That is very different from what you’re now claiming.
Additionally, when we expressed frustration, a manager escalated the situation rather than attempting to resolve it. If there truly were technical issues, communicating that at the time would have prevented the entire situation. Rewriting the story after the fact does not change how unprofessionally we were treated.
This review reflects our real experience. For a place advertised as a sports bar, the attitude toward customers who want to watch sports was disappointing at best.

Great atmosphere, great service! Our first time here, visiting from AZ. Summer was very welcoming and helpful; she knows her hot sauces! Great place to catch a game or meet up with friends for drinks. My wife enjoyed the pepperoni pizze; it looked good and tasted really good. They make their own dough here. I had an omelette that was very good as well. If you are into hot sauces, they have a roasted habanero hot sauce that is flavorful without that big bite. They do have a hotter version that was really good, too.

Chill spot tucked away in a secret hill location, my boyfriend and I came here during happy hour and received awesome deals! The Thai wings are included in happy hour, they are crispy and flavorful. We also had fish and chips and it was by far the best north of San Diego.

Huge plates, great prices, bar atmosphere but there were plenty of kids there for breakfast on the weekend. We got a great seat by the window and it stayed cool despite facing the sun. I could not finish my brunch, brought it home and it was gone within minutes. I had their turkey bacon club sandwhich and the zeppole. Eat those right away as they don’t reheat well but are worth the $7 hot. Ate lunch here today. After 3pm happy hour specials are great.

The Point Restaurant has the most warm and welcoming staff, the food is amazing, I got the BBQ chicken salad was fresh and delicious,drinks are crafted well and screens everywhere for any event you would want to watch. 10/10!

“I love this bar, it’s my kind of place, walkin through these doors, puts a smile on my face”.. you know how the song goes. Ash is hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had. She had waited on us once and the second visit she knew exactly what we wanted, because she’s awesome and CARES about the customers that visit The Point. I love their pepperoni pizza & garlic fries, but she just turned me on to their fish tacos.. umm wow! This place has everything, including Erin, who is the most amazing bartender you’ve ever met. Love this place!! #hudsonsdad
