We took the boat over on Saturday to enjoy dinner with our family. What a disappointment that was. We chose to sit outside for the views even at 100° that evening, but didn’t expect to not have refills of our drinks (water). I had to ask 3 different times to have water refilled between the 5 of us. The wait staff did not want to wait tables outside because of the heat. Our service was AWFUL. We order 2 appetizers the fried pickles were good, the cheese curds were under cooked and soft and mushy. Our dinner plates were not the best but not the worse. It’s sad to see they have raised the prices AGAIN on every item. Chicken strip dinner $27.98 for frozen chicken strip and potatoe wedges

I got the fried steak for $22.50 I thought it was expensive but what I got on my plate was FULL SIZE. It took up the whole plate. I was pleasantly surprised. The appetizers were beyond great. I got the combo plate. The shrimp was excellent! The place was clean and the people were friendly. I would recommend this place.

Terrible service. I’ve been sitting for 20 minutes and have not been greeted or asked if I needed a drink. I’m on the patio for the views and it’s hot. I’d hope more attentive service considering they aren’t even busy! I will not be back again. I hadn’t been here since I was 11 years old, I am now 41. So sad to see that this place didn’t progress in anything but the price, absurd!

While in the area we were looking for restaurants to stop in for dinner. So happy we found The Point! Our food and drinks were delicious. The server was very attentive, when we told him we would be splitting the prime rib he brought out 2 plates with our meal nicely split.

We came up on the boat and used a courtesy slip at grandpappy, walked up to the point THEY DO ALLOW DOGS on the patio. Stunning views of the sunset amazing service. Great option to have this right on the lake after boating all day we filled up with potato wedges and salads. Perfect end to the night. They also have another bar that serves bar food and has comfy chairs with great views as well.

Great quick service. Awesome views. Unique menu items, but just a tad off. Cheese curds were great. I went for a unique chicken with crabeat. I strove too far. The baked potato was grest though. My wife loved the half of the chicken fried steak she ate. The other half was too tough to eat. Despite these complaints, it was still a nice visit for our first night in Denison.

We originally intended to go for breakfast. Following their hours on their website, Google, and Yelp, they were supposed to open at 9 for breakfast. When we arrived at 10, they weren’t open (even though the sign outside also said 9am). After giving them a call we were informed they would not be opening until 11. Thankfully, there’s a beautiful lake so we took a nice walk while we waited for them to open.

The price for the amount of food you get is ridiculous, it wasn’t even that good of food. For $24 I got half a slice of chicken breast over some rice that was crunchy with a side of fruit that seemed like it came out of a can. We won’t be back. Also we had multiple waiters and it took us over 15 minutes just to get the check after we were done eating.
