Made the short drive from Plymouth during a business trip. I chose The Point for lunch because of its location and reviews. I was looking for an authentic NE seafood spot near a harbor. Eating seafood while boats enter and exit the marina is a must if you’re in this area.

Ordered crab cakes, a cup of clam chowder, and the hot lobster roll. Everything was excellent, portions were perfect. Good service from a smiling face and awesome atmosphere. Especially liked its location away from the city traffic.

10/10

We came up from Florida for a quick weekend to visit family and weren’t leaving without great seafood one night. Wow I had a lobster roll and have never had one this good. The others had the Haddock and the portions we amazing. The quality of the food is top notch! The atmosphere and service was also number one! We will make it our regular stop when we go to Marshfield! Try it you will be glad you did! Thanks to the wonderful owners too!

Been here many times and always had a great meal until my last visit. I was not happy with my fish Rueben because it did not have as much fish as it usually did.
I contemplated not going back but I really like the family who owns it and thought I’ll give it one more try.
Kevin was on the upstairs bar and before ordering I quietly told him how unhappy I was the last time we ate there and that I was hoping this time it would be wonderful.
Well my Turkey Rueban was just perfect and his scallop and clam plate was fresh and delicious.
I am so happy to be feeling good again about The Point because it has always been great!
We will definitely be back.

Scrumptious lobster rolls with generous portion of lobster pieces. Came with a side of onion rings. The other ordered a side of Cole slaw, tasted very blend. The appetizer full bellied clams we ordered was also perfectly fried. The batter were made just right for all fried goods, thin enough to cover but not too thick. Usually I’m a little picky with fried food and the way the batter is made. These I give it 5 stars delicious and crunchyness. Nice outdoor seating and view.

Get the stuffed lobstahh… need I say more?!? This dish was absolutely amazing! The clam chowder made for a delicious appetizer!

I went for a late lunch with some girlfriends, and the restaurant was busy inside, so we opted to sit outside. The server was super nice and friendly, but did not check on us as frequently as we would have liked. The food was absolutely fantastic!

Great lobster roll, solid chowder, but the dressings on the salads really ruined each salad. It’s so simple to use home made simple olive oil bases etc, rather than by-the-gallon commercial stuff. Also the plastic straws and plastics on the table in general are especially not cool in a maritime themed restaurant.

Typical New England old school costal seafood shack. The best part the food spot on…From the soups and calamari to the full meals…Staff was extremely friendly and very attentive…My glass was always full…When this opens again next year I’m going back for sure…The coastal views and atmosphere speaks for itself….I’m back again for more fish tacos amazing…

The Point is a quintessential coastal dining spot that delivers on all fronts. Tucked away on the Town Pier with stunning water views, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is packed with fresh, local seafood classics, and the fried seafood platters, lobster rolls, and fish tacos are highly recommended. Whether you’re grabbing takeout for a day at the beach or settling in for a leisurely dinner on their dog-friendly patio, The Point provides excellent food and genuine hospitality that makes for an unforgettable experience.

Had the Haddock special and it was delicious. Wife had fried clams and she said they were very good. Prices were competitive and the upstairs deck had a great view. Server was attentive and you could tell he had a lot of tables. All in all a good find on the south shore which lacks good restaurants. I usually don’t post so that should tell you something. Just hope it’s as good the next time we go which will be soon.
