This is my top pick for authentic Ghana Food. I suggest you try everything they offer. You will not be disappointed. My favorite is the Waakaye. But I would be remiss if I did not mention their Fufu and Light Soup, Jollof Rice, or Tilapia and Banku (another favorite). The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are excellent.

Ordered Rice ball with peanut soup. Husband from Ghana was very excited to try it. The man who took our order(Mark)…we asked if he was also from Ghana (hubby and I are new and he loves connecting with people). The guy said I don’t want to talk about it. Okay, first odd thing. Then we asked to pay for/buy 1 extra rice ball to share. He said even if there is a price…we don’t have any extra around. He forced us to spend more money for food that 1) We didnt want 2) was not tasty to begin with. That is odd. A restaurant not permitting customers to pay for extra sides.
On their menu, today(Tuesday), you can only order 2 of all the items listed.
Peanut soup should look thick.. closer to gravy/curry consistency. It was very light and watery, similar to light soup. It was not very spicy at all. Over all the food was not delicious, the service was not excellent….very disappointed. Gave 2 stars because it was clean and the music was okay. Wouldn’t recommend, won’t be back, and I can make better food at home.

A beautiful Ghana cuisine selection with solid variety in a limited menu. The location has up close parking available in a shared plaza. There was plenty of seating, with a very clean and relaxed atmosphere. We tried two recommended meals by the hostess, and was not disappointed one bit! Highly recommend the Wakkye if you want to try a dish with variety, great flavors, and some heat available. Customer service was spot on, responsive, and very courteous. If you’re looking to trying West African cuisine please check this place out!

The Point has the best Ghanaian food I have ever eaten. The food was perfectly seasoned and tasted great! The presentation was also professional. I will come again!

We tried the Waakye and the peanut soup. The Waakye had good portions, but it wasn’t spicy, even though they offered it as an option. There’s a little shito that comes with it to give it a tinge of spiciness.
We were really looking forward to the peanut soup because it was one of the recommended dishes, but it was a letdown. It was watery and didn’t have much flavor other than lamb.

Tried Ghanaian food for the first time. Waakye was the deal for me. I enjoyed every piece of grain in the food, very delicious and affordable.
Good atmosphere, great service and customer relations. Will definitely visit again

Hubby’s from Accra and states that it’s decent but not the best. Wait times are normal for African food which is 25-45 minutes even if there is no one there do call beforehand.
