Paid $14 for what might be the worst mango smoothie I’ve ever had. I don’t mind high prices if the quality matches—but this absolutely didn’t. The drink was mostly ice, watered down, and had barely any real mango flavor. Mango is the main ingredient and somehow the biggest miss. It tasted thin, bland, and nothing like a proper smoothie. For this price point, I expected fresh fruit and a rich texture, not an icy, flavorless disappointment. Definitely not worth the premium cost.

Don’t recommend! Likely the worst coffee I ever ordered in my life, sadly. Boiling hot milk just poured in the shots of espresso (I burnt my lip on it), zero foam on the cappuchino and the coffee beans just taste cheap. As a European it just whines me up that you get asked for a tip before you even taste what you get served. This is just wrong. Plus, why do you call yourself “The Plant cafe” and then charge extra for plant-based milk?

Exceeded expectations. Muffin was a bit crumbly but tasted good. Coffee was fresh and they had non-fat milk. Service was fast and friendly. Not a long line waiting. I did see some amazing looking chicken sandwich is being prepared behind the counter. Looked like fresh chicken breast with avocado. I wish I was in the mood for lunch. Located near gate D4 in SFO terminal 2. I think it’s a good alternative to Pete’s across the way.

The spicy Thai tofu wrap was very lemongrass-forward but it was an okay airport meal that didn’t send me into bankruptcy ($18.24). Literally just a summer roll with a tortilla instead of rice paper. The “spice” gives the Trader Joe’s ghost pepper chips a run for their money — no spice at all.

A spin on vegan or vegetarian. A bit pricey but the portion is good for an airport spot. No need to tip already a surcharge on your receipt. Tip extra if you want to. Got the breakfast burrito and it was filled with black beans potatoes eggs some cheese. This did fill me up. I say check it out.

Friendly, welcoming staff. All of the menu options are displayed so you can figure out what you’re ordering. Everything looks fresh. We got our wraps really quickly. Employee kindly repackaged our order so we could get the wraps we ordered in our bags. Great spot for a vegetarian/non-meat sandwich.

I had an early morning flight today and stopped by this café since there was no Starbucks near my gate. I ordered an oat latte and a wrap. I initially thought the wrap would be warm, but it was served cold. When I politely asked if there were any warm options, the server responded quite rudely, saying only “breakfast option,” in a dismissive tone.
I decided not to buy the food due to her attitude. Unfortunately, the latte was also disappointing . It was too hot, and the milk wasn’t steamed properly or foamy enough. When I asked if it was the large size I ordered, she just said “yes” without even looking at me.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if good customer service matters to you.

I ordered the chicken cobb salad that is pre-packaged. It tasted pretty fresh, but was missing the cheese that is supposed to come with it. The price of $18.00 is also insane for the amount you were given. The employee that took my order was nice!

quick and fast but not worth the money at all. I paid over $15 for a “organic” chicken avocado sandwich that wasn’t worth $2 at a gas station. It was already made, looked old, was dryer than sand, and tasted awful. This is the last place I’d go to eat at the airport. Disappointed that I wasted over $25 here.

Had a long layover at the San Francisco airport so I spent it wandering around looking for some good food. The plant café was tasty. I got a smoothie and a chicken pesto sandwich. I’m happy with both I’d come back.
