This is a fun place. We stopped by last night, forewarned that we could bring sides and a bottle of wine. It is straightforward and unpretentious. This is a rustic setting, but they don’t pretend they’re not. The server and cooks were attentive and friendly. The food is good, hot, interesting and reasonably priced for what you get. We had the roasted clam special, roasted corn, the “vegebob” and it was all good. We brought a nice red blend, our own mac & cheese and a hunk of jalapeño cheddar bread, which was outstanding dipped in the balsamic-based sauce on the vegebob. Couldn’t have been happier.

As others have said, it’s super rustic. We packed a tablecloth, flatware & wet wipes. The only thing we used were the wipes. Utensils & napkins are provided. Staff are warm & welcoming. There are traditional restrooms with running water for use.

A group of us went after a football game yesterday and you could not have ordered the weather any better. It’s amazing to watch them fire roast everything. You can bring whatever you like and they have a limited menu but everyone seemed to enjoy it. Service was a little slow but they were very busy and you must remember to bring cash. You can bring appetizers but most importantly bring any alcoholic beverages as they do not sell them.

Stopped on the way from MA to NY and found out new favorite break place just a few minutes off 95.
Now we know to pack some byo sides or bevvies but otherwise everything was great*
*Stick with the hot food, key lime dessert was underwhelming — go across the street for ice cream if you need a sweet treat.

Awesome experience if you enjoy outdoor seating. The food was of high quality. The patrons of the restaurant were familiar, you
can tell it wasn’t their first visit. They came prepared. It’s BYOB, you can bring beer,wine, if anything stronger, drink responsibly. The special clams are amazing, along with the lobster and corn. Oh, and let’s not forget the tree stump seating, Such a plus to my experience…..

If you’ve ever driven by and wondered “what’s goin on there?” Do yourself a favor, turn around stop and go have the best experience. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to food that is touched by fire, but I can assure you, the ribeye is so perfectly cooked that the plastic utensils are more than enough to slice the steak. The lobster and muscles were incredible and the corn on the cob is just as good.

Bring cash. Bring your own drinks. They have the Lobster and chicken and steak and corn . It’s awesome. Wild atmosphere with huge fire pits in the middle of what seem to be tents from a midddlivil times festival. You sit on tree stump stools and they serve the table. When I was there, 7pm in the middle of June, there are people and families and groups of friends young and old having as much fun as me everywhere I look. I enjoyed every minute of it. Parking is tough, be ready to circle.

Great seafood at a great price. Different than most in the northeast are used to having grown up with steamed. The open flame is a welcome switch up. Clams were a tad chewy, lobster was delightful, corn was delicious, shrimp were a little plain and the mussels were great. Nice Smokey flavor to everything. Great prices and awesome location and space. Ribeye was perfection.

The real attraction at this place is the place itself. Outdoor seating, wood fire, friendly staff all over the place. Loved this as a Friday night dinner , the food is decent though nothing to write home about. The corn was a standout as were the clams. It can get busy here so come early or be prepared. They also encourage bringing outside food and beverages.
