We ate at “The Place” last nigh for the first time and had a great evening. It was also music night with the band “Colton Mountain” playing. It wasn’t too crowded and we got a seat back near the bar and the band. We had meatballs as an appie “Mikey’s Big Balls, a pizza and a pasta disk. All were great with nice service. Nice cocktail and beer selection.

The dishes are definitely pricey but worth it for a special treat! The green monsta is THE BEST pesto chicken pizza. Great lunch or dinner spot, we’ve stopped in for sandwiches during the week and its been a nice chill spot for a quick day date.

What a treat to be able to order The Place for delivery! We live rural about 20 minutes from The Place. We were able to order online (late 8:00) and had delicious Italian food delivered to our gate! It was piping hot and the delivery fee was under $16 ! 10/10 would recommend them for delivery if you don’t feel like going out but still want a delicious meal!

I wanted to like this place because it was recommended by local friends. But it was a total disappointment. Let’s start with the positive. The meatball appetizer was good and it came with a flavorful house made marinara sauce. The Italian Blue salad, which we shared, was a little too sweet for my taste, but the other people at the table liked it.

The service was friendly but not attentive at all. It was a Saturday night so they were pretty busy. We had to chase down the waitstaff multiple times to get what we needed.

Cocktails were OK but the “Bloody Mobsta” was a total ripoff. $17 gets you a decent Bloody Mary with house made BM mix and a skewer with a few pieces of salumi and an olive and some peppers.

The entrees were a total disappointment. The pasta was overcooked. My friends said their dishes were just OK but definitely not worth the price. My Chicken Piccata was awful! No browning or flavor on the chicken. The sauce was a gloppy, greasy, flavorless mess that tasted mainly of raw flour. I asked for a whole lemon to squeeze on top to add enough flavor to make it barely edible and I still couldn’t finish it. The menu advertised spinach, which I thought might be a novel and flavorful addition to the classic recipe, but there were just a few leaves of spinach.

The live music was WAY TOO LOUD! We had to shout at each other just to be heard. And it seemed to be getting louder with every song. We might have tried the desserts, but couldn’t wait to get out of there because of the music.

Won’t be going back.

This place was once delicious and had great service. We had not been since the ‘old owners’ took over the establishment, again.

Unfortunately we were thoroughly disappointed. Spent $166 on a take out order. The waitress handed over a brown bag which was only part of the order. my mom and daughter sat there an extra 5 minutes wondering where the pizzas were (the rest of our order) because the host was off doing other things my mom asked the chef who’s pizzas were sitting on the counter, it was ours. The chef handed them to her. .

Now the food. The chicken in the Picata I ordered was so tough it made me want to call them and let them know they are selling $27 plates with borderline inedidle food. Also, absolutely NO KIDS MENU ON THE ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM, I WAS FORCED TO BUY A $23 CHEESE PIZZE FOR MY KID THAT THEY SOLD ON THE KIDS MENU FOR $12. Be aware of that!

I have seen the updates reviews and was timid about trying this place again, but because we once loved it, I held out hope. Lastnighrs experience was the nail in the coffin. Too high of prices for low quality food and service.

Have been to this location twice now and will never go back and spend any money here again. The first time we came in and found out the menu was EXPENSIVE and it was self service ordering. So we left.

This time we just came in for a drink and listen to some music. That was a mistake!!! We got a beer, glass of wine, two cookies, and a microwaved Italian bread dessert thing that was tough…All for $56!!! And the bar tenders were puttering around like it was really busy (it wasn’t) and forgot orders. The food took forever to come out (if the bread dessert had been made fresh and not just warmed up, i would have fully understood!).

This is the latest incarnation of this restaurant location and i hope someone else comes in and puts a reasonable spin on a restaurant here because this one is ridiculous!!!! We won’t be going back until they do!

We stopped here for dinner on our way home from a long day of driving. Someone brought menus, but nobody took our order: instead we ordered via QR code on the table. Once we realized we had to do that, it was pretty smooth sailing. Ordered drinks, appetizer and three meals: spaghetti and meatball, kids chicken nuggets and chicken Parmesan. Food taste was GREAT! We all cleaned our plates! They were about to start live music it seemed but we were done before they started. All in all, a good place to eat with friendly staff!

I am now editing my review on this restaurant. It is no longer the restaurant it used to be. The previous owners have taken it back over. No table service and food is not what it used to be. Ambiance is not what you would expect for an Italian resultant. Serve your own water out of a community water station. Grab your own utensils. Scan a QR code to order. This has a brewery vibe. I no longer recommend this restaurant and would suggest you find an alternative if you’re in the area. The photos I have on this post no longer represent what you would receive at this restaurant.

Great little place! Super surprised how nice it was inside. This converted gas station has a great new charm. Indoor or outdoor seating available. Wood burning domed oven makes for a great meal. There are many things on the menu I want to try so I will be back.

Ordered a Pizza to go at 12:30 on Saturday January 10. Got there it was busy with only one waitress/bartender. Sat at the bar to have a drink until my pizza was ready. Finished my drink with no update on the status and one hour later still didn’t have my pizza. Paid for my drink got up and walked out the door and I will never return. Something is really wrong when it takes over an hour to get a to go order.
