I just picked up two slices from The Pizzeria at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, and they were absolutely delicious! The Sicilian slice was perfectly crispy with a great balance of sauce and cheese, and the Aunt Danielle slice with its creamy vodka sauce, cup & char pepperoni, stracciatella, fresh basil, and hot honey was an absolute game-changer—bursting with flavor! Huge shoutout to the cook, Anthony, for crafting such amazing slices. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Me and my husband come here literally every other Friday, the pizza always fresh and delicious. My favorite is their Buffalo slice with a side of ranch. They also have different deals which is great we get the two specialty slices and a drink for set price.

I’ve lived in NY my whole life and this is still the best pizza I’ve had 🙂 We obligatorily get the buffalo garlic knots and “tricolor” pizza slice (pesto vodka and tomato sauce) every time we shop here. Today, we came just for the pizza, didn’t even shop! Highly recommend you try at least once, you’ll want it every time

I know this sounds crazy, but I think the best pizza on long island is in the food court of a smith haven mall.
Lets start with the food. The ultimate test of any pizzeria is the plain slice and these guys got it right, enough said. Beyond that, the daily specials are unique and each day is better than the last. While my personal favorite is the vodka slice (c’mon), I was completely floored by the thai chili slice, which the guy behind the counter recommended. The upside down slice is also a great go-to when you want to switch it up from the plain cheese. Lastly, they have doughy, cheesy and saucy buffalo garlic knots which are more than worth the trip in their own right.
Even though the food is most important, I can’t help but mention how wild it is that this pizza is coming from a food court in a mall. To say its the best pizza I’ve ever had in a mall is an understatement, its truly in its own league and better than any of the pizzerias in the area. How has it taken this long to realize that malls can do better than Sbarros? No surprise it happened in NY.
Not to mention, the place is just cool. Its not like the town pizza around the corner that has the same trays from the 80’s. these guys stand out in the foodcourt with the neon signs and music playing in the back.

Definitely got food poisoning because they certainly didn’t heat the slices up enough.
Got sick to my stomach shortly after eating a slice of regular and the Daniella(? Pepperoni, stracciatella, hot honey etc.
No real order to the two lines, people just cut you to pay even though you’re told to wait in line to pay. The staff is too busy to direct traffic.
But that doesn’t matter because I’d never risk getting sick ever again from this place.
