Was in Rochester for a work trip. The pizza looked amazing so I did a drive by- however I did not partake. Instead they I snagged the Utica greens and chicken riggies . Yes I’m not in Utica but I love both of those dishes so I gave them a try. The Utica greens were top notch ! Plenty of prosciutto, cherry peppers and amazing parmy bread crumb . Def my favorite dish. The riggies were good . Sauce was thick and well seasoned. My only feedback was the pasta was a bit overcooked for my liking . Still solid and the portions are generous . Brought the rest home and enjoyed as left overs. Ps. The pizza came out while I was waiting for my food and omg . The woman at the counter was also polite and attentive.

Lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. Food was super yummy and that Italian Assorted was fantastic. Bread was warm and has a little spice, but with a lot of flavor. Plus you can buy their pasta and sauce to have for other meals. Highly recommend.

Great Detroit style deep dish pizza. $10 lunch deal for a generous slice, fresh cookie, and fiz pop. The sloppy Joe pizza was very good! Cookies were better than Subway. A must visit in the area!

Stopped by at lunch time and grabbed a slice, it was unbelievably good – the crust is simultaneously thick and crispy, but also soft and fluffy. Just the right amount of toppings (yummy, stringy cheese, but not so much that you feel like you’re eating a brick of mozzarella – Nice chunks of tomatoes). Service was quick, quick and friendly, they use recyclable cardboard takeout containers which I like, and they have a bunch of stuff. I will definitely be back to try!!

This is a nice little place with really nice employees. I’ll be honest I’m a thin crust pizza fan but I do enjoy a nice airy square slice when it’s done right.
You want the bottoms to be crispy and the rest to be like your biting through cotton candy.
This is a good square slice. The dough has a good flavor and the bottom is crispy. I just had a pepperoni slice but today they had a special slice that had bbq beef on it that looked great. But I always know if I try the special slice that no matter how good it is I’ll wish I got the regular slice. Especially when it’s the first time there so I didn’t succumb to my own pressure.
I’m glad I did but I almost went back for that other slice!
I’ll be returning to get a whole pizza because they have a regular menu pizza with banana peppers and pepperoni which I would enjoy.
They have pasta and chicken parm and some other things which I may try as well. I do like a good chicken parm. I will update if I return to try it.
2nd stop in: We tried the meat lovers and roasted mushroom pizza. Both very good. The roasted mushroom must be a favorite here because everyone after us ordered it and they had to throw another in the oven when we were there.

Staff is amaze and friendly. The pizza (Detroit style) is spectacular! Perfect crust, perfectly cooked – crispy chewy, and surprising “light”. We will be back!

The Pizza Shoppe is a great place for dinner. They have more than just pizza their sandwiches and pasta are very good too. The pasta is homemade from their sister store the pasta shop. Definitely worth a visit.

From the gal at the counter all the way through….everything was exceptional!!! It’s so hard to find chicken and eggplant Parmesan in take out pizza shoppes up here in Rochester….but this place DID NOT disappoint!!
