I’ve been a customer of Pizza Shack for over 15 years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I ordered the Carnivore pizza on Saturday and it had very little topping and cheese. The pizza was dry, the crust was hard, and overall it did not reflect the quality I’ve come to expect, especially for the price.

I called to let them know about the issue and was told I would need to bring the pizza back for a remake on Monday. I understand policies, but as a longtime customer, I was hoping for a more customer-friendly solution.

I’m sharing this feedback because Pizza Shack has always had a strong reputation, and I would like to see them return to the quality and service that made them one of the best in town. Hopefully this was just an off night.

Unfortunately, this was not the best experience at Pizza Shack. The restaurant was quite warm due to a lack of air conditioning, and the drink machine was out of service. Rather than offering familiar Pepsi or Coke products, only Kroger brand sodas were available. There were two employees on site—one working in the back preparing pizzas, and the other spent most of the time seated at a table on his phone. Overall, the visit did not meet expectations.

Was my first time going here. Service was quick. Very friendly employees. The bathroom was clean and smelled nice. The restaurant was clean. The pizza had a little too much sauce for my liking but tasted great. It’s also kinda thin. Took them about 15-20 mins to get the pizza out to me which is reasonable because it was hot and fresh.
Overall, good experience and food was good.

My wife raves about this place, when we come to town she always wants to go here. Well it was an epic fail, pizza was over cooked, crust like cardboard, toppings were slim. This place use to be super good, I’m from Chicago so that’s saying a lot when talking pizza. Sorry pizza shack, need to do better

In the middle of July it was hotter inside than it was outside. This location has gone from best to worst of their locations. Pizza tasted like they took a tombstone pizza and added toppings to it. Pizza was also ready about 30 minutes past the time it said it would be ready.

Visited mid day on a Tuesday. Not crowded at all. Super fast and friendly service. We ordered the medium carnivore. It was perfect! Best tasting pizza that I’ve had in awhile. The cashier was super nice…she offered a chocolate chip cookie to my son. It was delicious too! We will be back.

Very disappointed… what is happening to the restaurant and fast food industry? My pizza was dry…not prepared with the ingredients that come with a supreme pizza…and overall quality and taste was subpar. This has been my go to place for great pizza in the past but I’ve decided not to return.

This location has progressively become worse & worse over the years. What was once my favorite restaurant now makes me gag just at the thought of it. I’ve dealt with long wait times, rude customer service, wrong and missing items on my order but I’ve still tried to stand by this place. Last week, after having a procedure done at Baptist, I ordered a personal pizza, wings and cinnamon sticks about 20 mins before I left the hospital. I arrived and waited another 10 mins in the parking lot before I went in and then still had to wait after I got in. Then I was told they were out of the wing flavor I chose. I chose another and guess what…. Also out of that one After settling for a flavor I didn’t want I wait for my order a few more minutes. When I get in the car I tell my family how unappetizing the cinnamon sticks look, but being that I hadn’t been able to eat in hours I just dug in. My first bite I say aloud how they taste “weird” but in not sure why. I eat 2 more and then my stomach begins to hurt. I started to examine the cinnamon sticks and realize I’ve been consuming MOLD! Yes, MOLDED CINNAMON STICKS. (I took them to another pizza shack to confirm my suspicion before returning to the Fortification location). I’m now scarred for good and will probably never order from this location ever again!
