Local pizza showing the chains how it’s done. A small locally owned business that started in Dalraida strip mall, I have had them before but it’s been a while. I appreciate businesses operating centrally in the city. Establishment was clean and well cared for and the pizza only took about 6 minutes. The pizza I had was made with good ingredients was a perfect medium crust, a tad floppy but with some crisp and tender dough in the middle. Not undercooked to be clear. Toppings were great and the pepperoni and bacon had the perfect amount of char on the edges. Sauce was a little sweet and they used to have a zesty sauce which I might have preferred. Buffet is a few days a week but come during peak hours for best pizza.

Have always had a positive customer service experience here. They have been very patient, especially considering how indecisive I tend to be. Love the menu variety and all of the different sizes of pizzas available. Would definitely recommend! Love the Kitchen Sink, the Garlic White, and the Chicken, Bacon, Ranch.

Restaurant was VERY clean!! Loved being able to see the kitchen! Shopping center was not the best. Everyone cuts through the parking lot. Food was so good and really fresh! Loved the man that I believe was chef/owner. He came out to check and have a nice chat. Only gave four stars for location and the ordering process. We had never been there before and would have loved some suggestions on what to order from the guy at the register. We got an appetizer that we liked just fine but as we are never in Montgomery, we would have preferred a suggestion of their best! Great CALZONES!

I realize this is a lengthy review. I cannot help myself but to express my opinion again. I hate to admit it, but recently I have purchased two pizzas from Marco’s on Perry Hill Road. I was disappointed with both of them so I got a 12 inch four topping pizza at the Pizza Place. I did ask for a little extra pizza sauce. I got home with it and realized how much extremely better it was than commercial pizza restaurants. It is family owned and operated. They take pride in each and every pizza they serve. I apologize for purchasing the Marco’s pizzas. I will not do that again. If you want a pizza that tastes very, very good….. give The Pizza Place a try. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed. If you are from out of town and you want a well made pizza, I highly recommend The Pizza Place.
WOW!! I just got finished enjoying my first pizza from The Pizza Place on Harrison Road in the shopping center off Perry Hill Road. While I gave Marco’s Pizza a very good review, this is where I am going to buy pizza from now on. The pizza I had was absolutely delicious. I have never received a pizza anywhere that the ingredients were taken to the ultimate edge all the way around. It is a family owned and operated restaurant and this kid enjoys those the most. It is extremely rare to be able to talk with the owner of any restaurant. I found out this morning that this restaurant was there and I am very pleased with myself that I tried it. I met the owner and his son took my order. I hope you readers out there realize I take restaurant reviews seriously. I highly recommend The Pizza Place here in Montgomery. Not only are you getting very well made pizza, but we are supporting a family business instead of a filthy rich chain restaurant. I am going to venture out there and say they make their own pizza sauce because it is so much better than chain pizza places. I am extremely impressed and that isn’t easy for anyone to do. Try it the next time you’re in the mood for pizza, I seriously doubt you will be disappointed!!

I enjoyed my second pizza this afternoon. Only this time I ordered a thin crust. I prefer the regular crust. It seems the pizza holds up better. Once again the pizza was taken all the way to the edge. It was extremely good and I definitely will return. I eyed their menu while waiting and there are other things I want to try like their Italian 10″ sub sandwich. I am so glad I stopped by on the 4th and tried their excellent pizza. I do not believe you will be disappointed. 14 April 2022
25 April 2022 Because of The Pizza Place I am enjoying pizza much more often than I have in decades. I ordered their smallest pizza with 4 toppings. Double pepperoni and double sausage with regular dough and it was fantastic. I took a photo of it when I got into my kitchen and texted it to a friend who believes Marco’s Pizza is the best. She is eager to try The Pizza Place soon!!!!!

I just finished 4 slices of their smallest pizza with two toppings, double Italian sausage, and it was delicious as always. There are six slices available. It is difficult to explain how good it is. I simply prefer it over Costco and Sam’s Club pizza despite their extremely low cost. Yes if you are feeding young children, Sam’s Club pizza is a great deal, but if you know what you are eating, The Pizza Place is much better.

This review is getting lengthy. In my opinion you can taste that the pizza is hand made. They still take the sauce and toppings all the way to the edge so you not getting a whole lot of crust. One thing I would like to see is them changing back to large chunks of Italian sausage rather than finely minced. More like the photo I have posted.

Excellent pizza. Buffalo wings were also good. Pizza had nice crispy crust underneath, but still tender inside, generous toppings. Did a half meat and half sausage, mushrooms and black olives. This is my new favorite pizza place. It is better than Midtown pizza and as good if not better than Bibb Street pizza. Wings were not too spicy, very tender and juicy. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

This pizza is delicious! My first time trying it was at my job and they bought the OMG PIZZA size 28” a few times. Each time the pizza was delicious. I ordered a large pizza from there for my family and large work great for a family of 4. It’s better than papa johns or any other pizza places in my opinion.

Was our first visit and I was shocked when we walked in to find 10 people waiting for pizza..it was 11:45 and there was half of a ham and pineapple pizza on the buffet. There was no salad included no pasta or break sticks – there wasn’t even tea as an option. An empty buffet for $9.00 plus tax!! I ask for a supreme to be made for the buffet and waited. They set it out with two guys devoured it leaving one slice for everyone.
We left hungry and stopped by Wendy’s drive thru…

I love their pizza. Great family owned and operated pizza and subs. Try the zesty pizza sauce you’ll like it. Biggest pizzas in Montgomery, very fun to order for a party. The lunch special is a great deal too.
