from the folks who brought you Munch A Simple Kitchen, the Pizza Joint is our latest venture. we noticed there was no great pizza nearby. So last Spring, we went to pizza school in Baltimore and this is what we came up with. The Pizza Joint, is a small simple menu, with an emphasis on quality ingredients, our own dough, hand stretched and cold fermented. We pride ourselves on the quality of our service.

Stopped by for a takeout pizza, got the usual 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepp to get a fair evaluation. Service was quick, and the folks were friendly. It’s a deck oven pizza, no conveyors or rotary which was a good sign. Pizza came out cooked perfect, a little crunchy but not burnt. Was pleasantly surprised that the pepperoni was cup and char, cheese wasn’t overly salty and the crust had a nice crunch with a good buttery toasted flavor. A medium sauce, not too sweet over overly herby. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Cleveland. Everyone has their preferences but this is worth a shot! Will definitely order from here again.

The art of customer service is not lost on this couple.
The pizza was cooked exactly as I asked. That in its self is such a rare feat nowadays. Ingredients were superb.
Our Caesar salad couldn’t have been fresher and more of a perfect starter to our pizza.

We ordered a “build-your-own” pizza for the first time from The Pizza Join yesterday and it was EXCELLENT! We also ordered soup but ended up saving it for a future meal so I will need to review it separately. I expect we will like it since the owners previously operated Munch restaurant where soup was a specialty.

The whipped ricotta that came with the pizza was an absolute delight! We dipped our pizza crust in it. Yum!! Crust is just the right thickness and has a nice chew to it. Their garlic white pizza sauce is our favorite (did a Build Your Own with mushroom, red onion & spinach – SO good!!) Friendly owners & can tell they take great pride in putting out a high quality product. Solid neighborhood pizza joint!

I was just passing through, staying at a hotel and got some pizza that was close to the hotel. Me and my family LOVED the pizza. We got pepperoni and cheese with the savory whipped ricotta and man it was absolutely delicious. Fresh and quality ingredients, friendly staff, good local beers to go, and a delicious meal. I recommend highly. The whipped ricot with your pizza is a game changer.

The pizza was sooooo good!! The crust, cheese, sauce all worked so well together. Garlic knots were also delicious. But we cannot leave out the Gelato it also was everything it needed to be and more. We waited until we got there to order, there was about a 25 min wait, that is to be expected. They do have a table inside and one or 2 outside if you need to wait for your order. The owners were very nice and considerate. We will definitely return.

Had them for our hockey tourney this past weekend and the whole team loved it. The owners delivered it and she tried denying a tip that we had to force and she was so nice and humble. Highly recommend. Side note: they’re the only good thing about Ohio.

We absolutely loved our visit here! The pizza was incredible – the crust had a rustic, delicious texture and flavor, the sauce was rich and balanced, and the cheese tied everything together perfectly. A side of whipped ricotta to top the slices was such a lovely touch, and the spicy whipped ricotta was bursting with flavor. The fresh bread served with it was also fantastic!
We couldn’t resist trying dessert and ordered the gelato – both the vanilla and salted caramel were absolutely delicious.
On top of the amazing food, the owners were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back soon – this has quickly become our new favorite pizza spot!

I was working near by and stopped to grab the crew a couple of pizzas. What a hidden gem The Pizza Joint is. I thought the pizza was awesome and the people working there are super nice. I highly recommend giving them a chance if you haven’t already.
