I have been eating The Pizza Company in South Baldwin for well over a decade. I came here back in the days of Tastee-Freez. Man, I miss those vanilla milkshakes and their amazing soft serve, including the vanilla soft serve dipped in blue goo! I’d get the cheese fries multiple times a month in high school. Fast forward to 32-year-old me…
…I am visiting Pittsburgh for the holidays, and my brother requested that we order some pizzas from here. We ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Glad we did! Their pizza has been INCREDIBLY consistent over the years. It always has a lot of flavor, and the sauce has a nice sweetness. The dough has great taste and a nice texture. There is a slight crisp to the crust, which is great. The three-cheese blend is yummy and flavorful. They are generous with the pepperoni slices, which have great savory taste and a nice crisp. Importantly, the pizza slices have great flop. This is one of the best pizzas in Pittsburgh in my opinion, especially for the price. My only complaint would be that there can be a little extra grease at times–nothing that a little dabbing can’t fix!
Finally, their business website is quite nice! Furthermore, they do a great job with pick-up and following COVID-19 protocols to protect their employees and customers. Give them the business during this pandemic!

Pizza was good for price! Kids loved it. Service was the outstanding part. Just helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. We ordered 8 pies, lots of sides about 40 minutes before closing, and they had it ready with a smile in under 30 minutes and even helped me to the car so I did not have to make multiple trips!!

I ordered a breaded chicken salad and breadsticks, I waited an hour for delivery not a problem, When It got here, the delivery guy forget my drink and offered to go back and get it. I told him it wasn’t a big deal no problem at all. I Brought my food inside the breadsticks taste like they’ve been sitting out under heat lamp for two hours and are hard as a rock and the chicken for my salad was tossed in buffalo sauce which I did not ask for because I am allergic.

Pizza was delicious but the wings were horrible. They are labeled as “Famous” but are the opposite. They were chewy and undercooked, not crispy at all. Also this place is overpriced. I got a medium pizza, with wings and some sauces and my total without tip came out to almost 50 dollars. If the price was a bit more reasonable I would order the pizza again.

Have ordered from this location many times always solid good pizza and great breadsticks! This is our first time we ordered and was very disappointed in the pizza. Called and let the restaurant know and they were more than willing to make the situation better. They brought out a new pizza to us by the manager and it was much better. The customer service was handled beautifully and we appreciate their hard work. We will continue to order from this location.

We decided to try this place yesterday, and it was the best pizza place ever! Perfect cheese to sauce ratio, pepperoni cups and crust that we devoured. The crust was airy and crispy and flavorful, to which most places are just doughy and bland.
Absolutely will order from again!
