Minus the wait This place is a 10 out of 10. I got the buffalo Chicken pie and the fried cheese balls with bacon…. Absolutely phenomenal. I was recommended this place by my coworkers. We’re doing some work in the area when I brought up getting pizza he immediately said “go to the pizza cave.” I am NOT disappointed

It’s the best homemade pizza spot I’ve ever been to! My husband got a classic Stromboli and I got a brisket, sausage, onion and bell pepper Stromboli plus an Italian salad. Yummy! I

Our family had a wonderful experience at Pizza Cave. We were staying next door at the hotel and took a chance. First of all, the Ceasars dressing was absolutely delicious! Clearly made inhouse. Pizza was also super. Garlic knots were good too. Atmosphere and service was great. Nice surprise. Thanks!

This place was amazing. The lettuce was fresh and crispy, the salad dressings were house-made, the crust was crispy on the bottom and not gooey inside, the toppings were generous, the sauce was delicious, the cheeses were high-quality. I took my food out and they remembered every single thing and went out of their way to find a bowl for the salad. Timing was perfect… just exactly what they predicted.
A surprising gem of a restaurant.

The pizza was legit good, the staff were super nice, and the atmosphere was pretty chill and family friendly. It is sitting at the top of a beautiful outlook and the outside sitting area would be rad. I was surprised the pizza was as tasty as it was, but I def recommend it. Enjoy/disfruta!

Eating at the Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs, TX, was a delightful experience that left my taste buds dancing with joy. This hidden gem is right off a main road in the heart of Texas surprised me with its exceptional pizza, reminiscent of the crispy, thin pies you’d find on the streets of New York City.

The star of the show at Pizza Cave is undoubtedly their pizza. The crust was thin, crisp, and perfectly charred, providing the ideal canvas for a generous topping of fresh ingredients. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, from the savory sauce to the perfectly melted cheese. It was like taking a culinary trip to the Big Apple without leaving Texas.

What sets Pizza Cave apart is its family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant boasts ample seating, making it a great spot for gatherings with loved ones. If you prefer a more laid-back experience, their back patio offers a picturesque view that’s perfect for enjoying a meal in the open air. And if you’re looking to unwind with a drink, the bar serves up a variety of beverages to complement your pizza.

But the icing on the cake, or should I say the melody in the slice, was the live music. Pizza Cave frequently hosts local musicians, creating a lively and entertaining backdrop to your meal. It’s an excellent place to relax, savor great pizza, and tap your foot to some tunes.

Pizza Cave in Dripping Springs, TX, is a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts and anyone seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere. Their New York-style pizza, family-friendly setting, ample seating, beautiful patio, and live music make it a standout dining destination in the area. I can’t wait to return for another slice of pizza paradise.

This Whole Crew is super rad, good vibes, always helpful, happy, easy going, hard working big team, place is hopping, always a place to sit at the bar or the back patio to watch the sunset. They treat all their Customers As Loyal Family. Such A Cool Place and Memorable Salad, Pizza, Pastas. Pizza Cave Slangs Unforgettable Zaaaaaa! Crazy about the garlic knots and the homemade dressings. We nearly come in every other week. We also love to keep them in mind for ordering salads in the afternoon – to go.

Edit Jan ’24- even worse! The flavor is blah, the vibe is bad, the service is slow, and the place is kinda dumpy. You can’t eat the pizza without a fork and knife. Ordering the crust well done only makes it tough and hard to eat, not crispy and sturdy.

The chicken on the BBQ pizza is almost too dry to eat. And it has hardly any BBQ sauce on it making it even drier.

They were out of desserts for the kids (one birthday) except some stale old brownies.

Original review – I really want to give this place 5 stars as most of the food is really good. The biggest downside is the flimsy-ness of the pizza. We ordered well-done and we got something that wasn’t edible without folding it over on itself or without a fork. The pizza tasted really good, just wish it was crispy and held up better.

I rarely write reviews, but this was bad. Slow service, overpriced, long wait in an empty restaurant, decent flavor but that doesn’t make up for anything. Disappointed! When I inquired why it took 45 minutes to get a sandwich, not a pizza, I was dismissed altogether. Don’t ever go here for lunch if you actually have to go back to work. Do better pizza cave! Will not go back.
