Came for a birthday party. The space was very cute. The waiters were great. The pizza was spectacular!!! Literally every single flavor. Their Italian sodas were really great too. You truly feel like family at their family run restaurant. I love that they care about ingredients and quality. Will be back and would def recommend

I love this place! Not only the place, but the people as well. Melanie (one of the owners) found me playing sax on a subway platform and invited me to play in their dining room. That was amazing in itself, but I couldn’t have known what an amzing experience I was going to be treated to. Let me just say first off, The pizza was really the best pizza I’ve ever had! Not just saying that. It is so good, you must try it! Do yourself a favor and go down to Bleeker Street and visit The Pizza Box. Melanie, her husband Michael and son Max have created a unique “slice” of New York City you won’t want to miss. Tourists and locals as well will love it! Thank you so much for inviting us. And thanks to Jace and Kai for singing along. You guys were the stars! Oh and the pizza. Don’t forget the pizza!!

I came here for the first time to celebrate with my friend. When stepping foot in to the place I felt welcomed. I was greeted and was helpful on what I want to order. I try Italian soda for the first time. The atmosphere was very nice. The scenery was nice as well and the food was great with fresh ingredients from Local farmers. It was like you know exactly what you were eating. The food came out so quickly as well as the meatballs and the Jack Pizza, which was really great even though it was on a spicy side, but I was able to alternate it to my liking over our great experience, love the place will come again

First time visiting. Got drawn by the free sample we got from outside (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤ The pizza is one and only pizza I have ever come across to love ever since coming from Mongolia. They have organic ingredients and everything tastes so fresh and so tasty.
Coming to the U.S I tried so many different pizzas and I am can proudly say this is the best one out there.
Even the sodas are from Italy and tastes way better than the store bought coke and sprite.
I recommend everyone to try it at least once and you’ll understand what I’m saying.
Would definitely come back again♥️♥️♥️

OMG…one of the BEST Gluten free pizzas I’ve eaten in a long time. The thick focaccia style crust melts in your mouth!! My husband had the regular crust which he said was also delicious. This NEW farm-to-table pizza shop on Bleecker is an adorable spot, super yummy + definitely worth a stop!! Can’t wait to travel

Manhattan can be a crowded fast paced place. If you want to sit down and have a pizza in a cozy environment, this is the place. I am so happy that I discovered this place. The staff were extremely nice and polite. The pizza was really good solid 8/10 in my opinion. I also like the personal 12” pies instead of just slices for $18. You get 6 slices and that’s $3 per slice and comparable slice will definitely cost $5 and you will have nowhere to sit. I will be coming back for sure!

My son and i absolutely LOOOOVED The Pizza Box. The Catskill Honey Pepperoni was perfection. Was a huge perk that they offered beef pepperoni as an option. The sustainably sourced garlic infused honey was the perfect complement to this pie. And the crust…..WOW it was exceptional!! Light, crunchy, flavorful and when i learned that the dough was fermented that was a HUGE bonus!! We actually felt great after eating the entire pie (and not the normal bloated and sluggish feel)!
The meal spoke for itself, but more than that the customer service was delightful, from entry. Staff was very welcoming. Even had the opportunity to meet the owner Melanie and her son while there learning the story behind it all. Clearly a lot of love in this family business.

If I could give a 6th star I would. Absolutely amazing pizza and run by the most wonderful family. I came here for my friend’s birthday lunch, and we had all you can see caesar salad, pizza, and wine. With every pizza that came out to the table Melanie explained everything on it and where they sourced it from. At the beginning she said “you should know where your food comes from so you can make sure you are eating good food”.
I could taste the love they put into these pizzas, so many wonderful combo. One of my friend’s favorites was the fermented onion honey on sausage, while I absolutely love love loved the potato with onion (reminds me of Roman pizza).
I knew from my first bite that I would be coming back here. Pizza is 10/10, the vibes 10/10, and the service is an 11/10.

What can I say about The Pizza Box NY. This is my first time to New York, and this was the first place I ate, and now I’ve come back every day I’ve been here. Melanie and the family are truly extraordinary people who are running a beautiful and absolutely delicious restaurant that I can happily say is a must visit for anyone coming to New York.
