This place is awsome my very first time coming in which I have come once a week since then. So a little close to a month now. Service is great and timely. The rib tips are awsome my whole family kids included love them. My personal favorite is the brisket and that sauce is to die for. If you looking for something that is going to keep you coming back for more please check this place out.

I saw this establishment on the news and have driven by it more than a few times, but today I decided to he ahead and give them a chance. Now I normally dont eat at BBQ places because the rib tips are almost always too chewy and you end up spitting it out after the sauce is gone, but this place is nothing like that. Upon entering I was greeted by Natalie, who was very pleasant and didn’t rush me to decide on what I wanted, she also made some recommendations for me as well. I ordered rib tips, catfish, spicy Mac, and greens. I started with the ribs since that’s what they’re supposed to be known for, and I was actually surprised that they could pack so much flavor into one bite. The meat was well seasoned and tender. The sauce was a very good compliment even though at most other places I tell them to put the sauce on the side in hopes of getting the best pieces. I then moved on to the greens, they were what I would expect, had some good flavor but nothing too crazy. The spicy Mac was good, but I think it could use some more heat. I then decide to eat the catfish even though I was already full. The catfish was fried beautifully by the chef of the day Denisha. After forcing myself to eat most of the catfish because the filler was so big I washed it all down with some lemonade. The lemonade was so good, I had to order another one before leaving. To sum things up, I will definitely be back again instead of just driving by, I can’t wait to try other items on the menu. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, stop by and get yourself some of this delicious food!

Simple place that serves up great food. My wife loves a pulled port sandwich with spicy mac-n-cheese and I love the rib tips, but everything there is good.
I suggest calling ahead just in case they are running out of a particular item. It happens because they make it right!

Be careful they chop the bones in the pulled chopped chicken. Called and spoke with the owner and they didn’t offer anything. Just said they were sorry.

OMG!!! Best greens in the city, rib tips so tender and flavorful, Mac n cheese creamy… Sweet Potato Pie, yaaasss everything was delicious, This will be my Go To spot for Soul Food and Good BBQ!

The woman at the front seemed friendly. With that said, I would never get food from here again. The brisket was definitely 100 percent, not brisket. The tips were tough. The chicken was edible. I’m sure no “pittt” was used in the cooking of the items I had.

One, this is not a sit down place. This is a get your food and go. Second I have been coming here since they have been open. Always polite no problems. Yesterday was my first problem. I had a barbecue tip dinner with baked beans greens and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was spoiled. Not only was it spoiled, it wasn’t even warm. It was cold. As like as if they just took it out the refrigerator it was not cooked and as soon as I remove the lid you can smell the spoiltness of the milk. They used to have a high rating. I see they have went down hopefully they’ll get it back together.

My husband ordered here first and brought home, we loved it so we decided to order again next day. We ordered a rack of ribs, tips, mac and cheese, potato salad. I got home and realized they forgot the rack of ribs. We love far south so no way I was going back that night so we decided to go back the next day to pick up. They apologized and offered a dessert. The meat was great but the sides weren’t that great.

I am a new customer I just left there about 15 minutes ago. I know barbecue this is not barbecue. The meat is baked or boiled. The canned Glory greens have sugar in them. The cornbread dressing is very disgusting along with the rest of my order I just paid like almost 30 bucks for this food. Anybody who is reading my review on this place do not go there that’s not real barbecue I know barbecue when I taste it. To the owners of that place please close that place down that’s why you’re not getting any business because the food that you’re serving. The service is amazing! I was really excited after having service like that. The food is meh. All the meat was drenched in what tasted like store bought barbecue sauce. What I could uncover from the sauce tasted bland. The rib tips were really tough. The sides tasted like they were from a box, a can, or store bought. Overall, really disappointed.
