I was so impressed by the huge variety of fresh seafood available—everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. What really made my visit special was how attentive the staff was; they cooked everything for me right at my table. I also loved the diverse side dishes that came with the combo, each adding its own unique touch to the meal. I I left feeling completely satisfied. l

Got the Gold Treasure Box—super fresh oysters, scallops, shrimp, and live abalone! The ribeye was juicy and delicious too! Great spot for grilling with friends. Fun vibe and solid service! Can’t wait to go back!

Had a wonderful dining experience at Pirate Seafood BBQ! This charcoal grill restaurant impressed us with nicely presented dishes and amazing service!

We ordered the Treasure Box Silver Platter ($84.99), which came with an impressive “boat” of seafood: Manila clams, mussels, cherry stone clams, scallops, shrimp, oysters, spicy baby octopus, and yellow croaker fish. It also included complimentary side dishes of noodle soup, spicy sashimi salad, corn cheese, steamed egg, potato and purple yam.

The seafood was fresh and grilled to perfection — tender, juicy, and flavorful. A few of the Manila clams didn’t open during grilling, but our server noticed and replaced them right away, which we really appreciated! The staff grilled everything right at our table and prepped the oysters and cherry stone clams so they were easy to eat — a thoughtful touch that didn’t go unnoticed.

The noodle soup was unexpectedly amazing! The noodles were chewy and packed with flavor. I initially thought it was just a filler for the combo, but it turned out to be one of the highlights. If it doesn’t come with the combo you choose, I highly recommend ordering it separately!

The spicy sashimi cabbage salad was interesting, corn cheese was good, and the veggie pancake and steamed egg were standard sides.

Overall, this was a great dining experience with spacious seating and a comfortable atmosphere. I loved that the seasoning let the freshness of the seafood shine. For those who prefer bolder flavors, each table comes with two types of hot sauce and soy sauce for dipping as well.

A pirate themed restaurant where they offers variety of seafood menu! A gem waiting to be discovered, I found out from a friend’s recommendation and was not disappointed. Loved the service they provide, they cook everything for you and all you have to do is eat. The menu B or the gold tier came with good enough to fill two people, I loved the pirate ship decoration of the food. The food tastes great with their sauces. One of the best Korean seafood restaurant in Rowland.

I wanted to go to this place for awhile now. I told my friends about it months ago but no one really wanted to go. I finally decided to go on my wife’s birthday and I couldn’t have been more disappointed.

We got the silver set along with boneless rib eye and pork steak. The seafood quality was ok, no sand in any of the clams, but it wasnt anything special. The soup and noodles at the end was mediocre, they were both soggy and the noodles had no taste besides it being spicy. The steaks were not bad, but everything we ate there was half burnt.

That goes into why I would never recommend this place to anyone. The service was aweful! I dont think I’ve been to a place with worst service and I go to alot of chinese restaurants where they couldn’t care less about service. The guy was literally on his phone the whole time in the other room just sitting there. He was the only one there so im not sure if it was just a bad day or they had call outs but he had a huge attitude the whole time. You could visually see that he was upset and it doesnt help when he’s the one cooking our $50 steak and it gets burnt! Half of the seafood was burnt as well, it was not a good experience. There was 5 tables eating on a thursday night and the tables weren’t cleaned for hours after they left. Given the guy was the only one serving, cleaning and cooking so I understand he was doing alot but when he goes to the other room to sit on his phone in between cooking our food and letting it burn, that’s a problem!

Our visit to Pirate Seafood BBQ left us with mixed feelings after trying the Combo Silver for two. The spicy scallop, advertised with a kick, took an unexpected turn with a surprising sour note, leaving our taste buds puzzled. However, the sashimi salad was a redemption, offering a delightful mix of fresh seafood and crisp vegetables, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors.

The standout feature of our experience was undeniably the excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, displaying a genuine interest in making our dining experience enjoyable.

If you are looking for friends gathering place or parties with great service but not focusing on the food itself, this is the place for you. We had Pearl Combo for party of 6. The presentation looks very nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The abalones are alive and fresh but Manila clams are a bit disappointed as it tastes more like frozen ones. Overall, a very nice dining experience though

If you like the never ending wait for your seafood to be cooked (spoil alert they will never be cooked). This is your restaurant!

The food takes forever on the grill. And most seafood is warm at best. The service was okay, but Im just amazed that even with the server cooking for you. Most of the seafood was still warm/not fully cooked. Clearly shows their cooking method needs improvement.

Overall, I feel like the restaurant wasn’t fully ready upon opening. Maybe change the way the seafood is grilled and make sure is fully cooked/hot. Would not recommend.
