From the time you walk in the front door, you are just blown away by how amazing everything looks in the store, even the decorations as the seasons change and they have just about everything you could want whether it’s cooking home decor or even just a great meal to grab with some friends we were able to stop and have breakfast and even go upstairs to the bakery, where every single bakery item was made to perfection and looks to be fake because nothing is out of place on a single one of their pastries. I definitely encourage you if you go up there, whether it’s to shop or grab some food, don’t miss out on the coffee shop upstairs. I have amazing selection and they also have an amazing variety of pastries the breakfast has some of the best pancakes you will have in your life so make sure that the next time you’re thinking about going and experiencing this place that you take time to really slow down and enjoy everything.

The service was fantastic! The store and restaurant are very cute. The food was pretty good but didn’t come out hot. It must have sat awhile before the server brought it to us. The biscuits they brought before the food came out were delicious! The coffee and lattes are also worth a try. If we’re ever in the area again we will stop back by.

We had a wonderful time at Pioneer Woman Restaurant and Mercantile. This place had been on our Oklahoma bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint. The store area was large and filled with fun gifts. The food and service were excellent. It was surprisingly not a long wait at all to get a table. The complimentary biscuits and jam were yummy. The chicken fried steak and gravy was soooo delicious. Our waitress was very friendly. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again.

Every bite is heavenly!
I ordered the chicken fried steak with macaroni and cheese and a baked potato loaded.
And for the appetizer we had gotten the Chorizo queso. It was so creamy and my taste buds were jumping for joy. The portions are amazing for 2 people to split too. But I wanted my own meal lol. I can’t wait to return here again! I even got greeting by one of the managers, Terry. He was so welcoming and kind with loads of fun local story’s.

We had a reservation for 12:30pm on a Thursday. I recommend making a reservation because a couple ahead of us had walked in and put their name on the list and were told it would be a 45min wait. When we finished eating about 1hr-1.5 hr later, that couple was just being seated. (So Just a suggestion)…The environment was pleasant and clean. The appetizer looked better than it tasted. I can’t recommend it. It was ok. The food was good. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich & the turkey bacon club. It’s a fun place to visit for something special. The store had a great selection of gift ideas. The bathrooms were extremely clean.

Come hungry. Come early. Come during the week.
We visited The Mercantile in Pawhuska before 3 PM on a weekday, and it was quiet and easy to enjoy—no crowds, just calm, relaxed vibes.
The restaurant starts you off with a warm biscuit, which was such a nice surprise and set the tone right away.
The Ranch Hand Melt, grilled cheese, and tortilla soup were warm, filling, and full of flavor.
The store? Charming and cozy.
The upstairs bakery? Don’t skip it.
Quiet, peaceful, and one of the best weekday stops in Pawhuska.

Mercantile was underwhelming but cute. Restaurant was good but did was never hot and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lodge was a must see in my opinion! Prarie Cottage was cutest little home, cozy and great location to stay! Overall worth the drive from Kansas City!

This visit is legit!
Some things just don’t always translate from pictures, videos, TV shows and recipe books, to real life tastes.
The food was flavorful and will leave me craving for more. This is a 4+ hrs drive from Dallas Texas area.
This is a place you should try if you’re in the area.

Welcome to my review. I am a Godly Man and Navy Veteran who loves great food and service. I give a fair review and my view of the experience. This is only one side and my experience. Your experience maybe different, so share it.
This place was so amazing and awesome and wonderful and delicious food. We are first. Country Scramble and pancakes. The pancakes had 3 different butters and syrups. Not going to tell you because you need to try them!
The store is in the same building and the bakery is upstairs. Yes we got treats for the road!!!!
