The sweetest owners and such great food. I highly recommend The Pinnacle! I got the flat iron steak with “dirty rice” and a side of mac & cheese . This place and plate did not disappoint. If you can’t find the building, don’t worry, the smell will lure you in. Joel and Ploy are serving classic style Southern food, with a couple interesting local style sides as well. I got the pulled pork plate, which came with coleslaw, corn, and rice. In addition I got a few more sides. Everything was top quality and reminded me very much of home. The string beans are life changing, with a delicious peppery mushroom sauce. I absolutely cannot recommend enough, definitely stop by and give them a try.

Came here two days in a row with my other half, and we absolutely loved it! We tried the prime rib and the steak bites, both were fantastic. Beyond the amazing food, the service was exceptional. I had the pleasure of chatting with Ploy at the front while picking up my order, and she was so kind and welcoming. You can tell this business, run by her and her husband, is built with heart and a genuine passion for serving their community. We will definitely be back

If you have not been here what are you waiting for?!? This place is so delicious. The brisket and the homemade mashed potatoes are a must have. The ribs I heard are excellent. The service was super and they have a cute back patio to sit at or if you like be daring you can sit in front with the traffic from lower main passing by. Also they make a mean Thai ice tea. Don’t snooze on this place. Hours are a little different so always check before deciding to head out here to eat.

This place is a must visit in Maui. Genuinely felt like a home cooked family BBQ, where everyone brought their secret/best recipes. Both brisket options were phenomenal. The paniolo was my favorite though. The Mac and cheese couldn’t have been better. I also personally loved the slaw. It was a mustard/mayo mix that was just a perfect addition to our meal. I hadn’t had anything like it before but was pleasantly surprised. Also not to mention the garlic mashed potatoes.. YUM. This will be our first/last stop next time we visit Maui for sure!!

my wife and I ordered a half rack of ribs, dirty rice with veggies, mac & cheese, and the quarter chicken. The meat could use a little bit more seasoning, but they were very tender and juicy. The dirty rice and veggies had a ton of flavor and were well seasoned. Mac & cheese was creamy but pretty basic. Only place in Maui with this type of barbecue so come and try it. Weapon.

Defo recommend for date night without the kids. Hell! Bring them. This place has really good brisket. For me, I can’t say I’ve ever had barbecue like this. It’s always teriyaki chicken or lukewarm mays teri burgers, but thissss sistah. This buggah mean.
