We enjoyed visiting this local favorite. It is small and charming with freshly made food from local vendors. The decor is fun and inviting. The menu for lunch was limited but we all found something good to eat. From the smash burger, the fried chicken sandwich, and fried green tomato BLT to the OG pork sandwich, we tried almost everything on the menu. All were delicious and the OG was big enough to bring half of it home. We also paired our meal with a glass of Rosé and had a pleasant time.

Small, fun, beachy joint with limited seating and a really great menu. Some of the best food I’ve had dining out in VA Beach in recent years. My wife and I had the fried green tomatoes, tuna, coconut shrimp, and elote corn dog. We loved everything we ordered and had fun sharing all of our plates. Their Painkiller cocktail is fantastic as well. This is a great spot for a date night.

Everything thing was 5 stars here. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather while my party had happy-hour drinks and appetizers. The unique atmosphere is great and the server was on point. Definitely will be back.

This is a cute little pink hole in the wall. It has a nice vibe. A little west coast, 50s/60s, beachy, modern, pops of color, I don’t know to explain it but it’s adorable.

This restaurant is insane. We lived in NYC for three years and have had many incredible, unique meals there and The Pink Dinghy is easily the same caliber right here in Virginia Beach. It’s so cute, inside and out, teeming with gorgeous plants and vibrant artwork. Every person under their employ is a joy to be served by. The food and wine selection has never disappointed us. Fresh seafood with eclectic flavors. Desserts sized just right for sharing a sweet bite. Wines from all over the world that pair perfectly with the fare you choose. We love being able to take the leftover bottle of wine home to finish later. I cannot say enough how great this spot is. It is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike looking for a meal at the Oceanfront without all the touristy vibes. A truly fantastic dining experience.

We went here around 4pm because we skipped lunch and we were very glad we did. The Happy Hour is an amazing value: $6 for unique, well-crafted cocktails and a decent price on their steak tacos and chicken sandwich. The fried chicken sandwich was done perfectly, and I really enjoyed the pickled onions and jalapeno. The fries, as well, had an Old Bay-style seasoning. Not to mention the prices were reasonable.

One of the best meals I’ve had locally in a while. Reservation for 4, lovely drinks, awesome burger, and appetizers were perfect. Waitstaff handled the chaos of the flea market perfectly. Lil Wayne was playing over the speakers which added to our fun dining experience.

Had a date night here tonight. Started with drinks, which were equal parts creative, classic, delicious, and strong. We had at least half of what was on the menu, with every single item the perfect temp, crispness, tenderness, and flavor. Shout out to Tyler, our server who was super attentive, enthusiastic about the menu items, and even delivered some thoughtful touches of his own. The ambiance, food, drinks, and service made this 5/5.

Please do yourself a favor, and put The Pink Dinghy on your Virginia Beach Itinerary. I’m a fan of tasting multiple flavors (who likes to pick just one thing from the menu? Not me.), and this place does just that. It has an array of international comfort foods that taste incredible. The Lamb Labneh is a MUST, and if you’re not into meat, you cannot go wrong with the Gnocchi or the carrots… In fact, get them all.
