We love the Diner! Its a nice place to take the family to sit down and eat. We eat there on a regular basis. The beef tips over rice was very good. The ribeyes and sirloin are good as well. Typically there is plenty of seating available and the service is reasonably quick considering most of the food is cooked to order.

Very friendly people and feels like a diner I would go to back in my home town. The food was very delicious and most definitely will be going back and hope to try their breakfast. This is Pilot Dinner previously Smoking D’s. The food is delicious. They have the same cooks as before same great food with a few changes. The dining room is bigger and nicer. You can now get Toco Salad, Stew Beef w/rice mashed potatoes and mac n cheese which I am told is great.

This was our first time eating here after our hike. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We had the cheeseburger /fries and they did not disappoint. If you get a chance to stop in try their homemade desserts. The yellow cake with chocolate icing…you can’t go wrong! We will stop in again the next time we are in the area. Thanks ladies for the awesome customer service❤

It is now two months later from first part of review. We had breakfast and they really need to improve. Seems that they have changed cooks or the cook forgot how to cook breakfast. The grits seemed to be left from yesterday. Really dry and clumpy. The extra crispy fries where floppy. Not crispy at all. Maybe they will improve. I had high hopes for this place

My daughter stopped and picked up supper last night from here and let me say WOW!!!!
I’ve only ate there a few times before this covid mess and had no complaints. She ordered me a steak med well and with the exception of a small thick edge piece it was perfectly cooked. It was the best restaurant steak I have had in quite some time. All the food we got was great. If there had been a piece of Texas toast or some other type bread, I would have to give it 110% But don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. You need to stop in and try it out and support local business

My husband and I met his dad to pick up our children, there today, and this diner is amazing. We all had cheeseburgers and were cooked to perfection. Hubby stated his Carolina buger was the best he has ever had..Waitstaff was very friendly… We recommend this restaurant..

Would have gotten 5 stars if the gravy wasn’t bland and runny. Ordered a hamburger steak. Naturally it would come with gravy but I had to ask for it. I has to put alot of salt on it just so the gravy would flavor. The menu was small not alot of options. And you order at the counter that’s odd. Other than that everything was good. The potato wedges and the mac n cheese super yummy. Friendly service.
