Gotta post about my dinner omg the brisket was so DRY, I ordered wings but I got a dry breast and wing it was very hard no seasoning and last but not least the ribs were crunchy but the sides tasted much better than the meat itself. Very disappointed, disatified to my liking. I will not be returning back to dine.

I ordered the 2 meat sampler which comes with your choice of 2 sides. I got the brisket and ribs with
collard greens and potato salad. They also have cookies and brownies for sale on the counter. The dark chocolate brownie is tasty. Both sides were good. The meats were extremely dry and over cooked. I wish that I had gotten more sauce but it would’ve still been far too dry. Kailey is an awesome employee… extremely kind and most knowledgeable. She urged me try the roasted chicken at lunch before it’s sold out. I arrived well after lunch today but I actually wanted to try the brisket and ribs today. I plan to give them another try. I tasted both versions of their bbq sauce. The lighter colored, bright red had more vinegar so I prefer that one.

I went after hearing about this place on Rumble in the morning. I got their signature Hogzilla sandwich. While it was large it definitely left a lot to be desired. The brisket was not fresh it had been reheated. It was dry and well done. Their was two thin almost transparent strips of bacon. None of the meat had any smoke flavor at all. The side of macaroni and cheese had a broken cheese sauce and was about the size of a pudding cup. Definitely not worth the price. The only good side was the young lady at the counter was super nice and easy to talk to.

This will make my 3rd time eating from The Pig and it’s been good overall! I’ve tried a lot of their sides but I definitely want to see what other meats they have to offer.
Today I got a 4 meat-4 side combo to go with; chose double pork bbq, dark meat grilled chicken, and brisket with macaroni and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw and baked beans. Everything was delicious but I wasn’t a fan of the brisket (too dry/overcooked) and the macaroni and cheese (had a slight spoiled taste) but I really enjoyed the greens and bbq chicken! Give this place a try and let me know how you like it

The young lady at the counter was really nice and checked to see if the mac and cheese was made with eggs and explained things to us, but that was about the best part of the visit! The food was not very good though-we got pulled pork, ribs, chicken BBQ, greens, mac and cheese, green beans, hush puppies, and fresh-made skins; my daughter said the chicken BBQ and the hush puppies were good and I thought the skins were really good, but the rest had too much sugar in it and the ribs were tough! I would only come back for the skins only, but plain this time because I got lemon pepper flavor and they were doused in too much seasoning, but once I brushed it off, they were very tasty!

This place has great food!! Not really a dine in establishment, but for me it was great! We took our food back to the hotel and man, when I say delicious!! Wow!! I will definitely make my way back to The Pig Shop!!
