Menu – Pig and Pint

I had such high hopes for this well regarded bbq restaurant in Jackson. … It has the best beer menu of any Mississippi restaurant I’ve been to by far.

We really enjoyed the wings, boudin balls and pulled pork sandwich. Food was excellent. We didn’t know that seating was outdoors and it was very hot at 5:30 pm plus many flies. We saw many people picking up their orders and I think this is a good option. The beer was around $12 each and you order it separately from your food order that you place at the front door. It would have been nice to sit down and look over the menu before ordering.

We stopped in while traveling through to FL. This was the perfect stop! We had the rib plate, smoked wings, fries, potato salad, coleslaw, Mac and Cheese, and beans. The Ribs fell right off the bone and a perfect bark. The wings had a good smoke but also a great crunch. The sides were all great! We will stop here anytime we are passing through and highly recommend it! They also have a huge beer selection.

The food is always great, with the one exception of the time I got the pork belly to try, and it was not great at all.

We are from Texas, and pulled this place up randomly hoping the Google reviews were accurate. It was a beautiful evening. All of their staff had great eye contact and were very kind. My kids loved their pulled pork sandwiches off of the kids menu. I had the ceaser salad with chicken. It was good, but chicken was a tiny bit dry. Their ceaser dressing was fabulous. My husband had the tacos sampler and loved it. My kids loved being able to unwind and chalk on the side walk. The screened in porch, lights and tables with the 80 degree weather was a total vibe tonight. ✨ and it was tidy and clean! Now days it hard to find a place that checks all the boxes.

This might be one of the best bbq places I’ve eaten at. It was excellent. My wife and I shared the PitMaster Plate with brisket, pulled pork and half rack of ribs. Also added the fried green tomatoes and smoked green beans. The kids got the pulled pork and sliced brisket sandwiches. All were excellent. Highly recommend!!!

The pulled pork nachos were PHENOMENAL! It’s been a long time since I’ve been really content with the size of the meal, the flavor, and price. For $10.99 this was a best bang for your buck. There was a ton of meat, the chips didn’t get soggy (I didn’t get it with the BBQ though), and the flavor was delicious! I was literally about to burst eating here. If I’m ever back in Jackson, I will absolutely visit here again. 10/10

I had the Fondren Fries with the brisket – Good Lord, it is a lot of food! Very good brisket, the fries were just the right potato and cut to support all the toppings. I hated leaving so much behind, traveling so no way to take home a doggy bag. Order with a friend

I had a three meat sample which included a rack of ribs, chicken, and brisket. I knew I would have left overs but wanted to try a little bit of everything. Brisket was moist and flavorful but didn’t have much of a smoke ring to it. The chicken was good and moist. The ribs seemed like they had been in the warmer too long that they tasted dry. The rub on the ribs was a bit much and had a hard bite. They didn’t look so appetizing either. The sides were excellent with the mac and cheese along with the pork rinds that went great with some Crystal hot sauce. The service was excellent and attentive although you just order the food at counter and they bring it out to you while you refill your own drinks. I plan on going back to try some other items on the menu.

Popped in for lunch and had a 3 meat platter. Pulled pork, brisket and sausage with a side of Mac and cheese with watermelon. Location is cool with ample parking. Very unique building in the Fondren area. Staff was incredible! Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I haven’t been to Pig and Pint in a minute. I not aware that they have closed their indoor dining area. The only seats available were outside. Needless to say, summer in Mississippi it was hot. The food is always good and the service was top tier.
