I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past never had an issue.Went through drive-thru today ordered a 3 meat plate ribs were great, turkey was ok and the pork tasted sour. Called to let them know and all the girl said that answered the phone was “yes ma’am”. No offer to remake or substitute for something else. Just Yes ma’am. which makes me think they had other complain about the pork, but continued selling it.

Leteia was my server. The whole staff was super friendly. I’m glad I came at 4 o’clock today because the restaurant is probably slammed at lunch and dinner. I ordered the regular pork sandwich with a side of field peas. I loved it. I was surprised that so much meat came on the bun that I had to use a spoon to gather up the extra meat. The meat was very tasty; not overcooked or greasy. I’m definitely returning and bringing my family and friends. The men’s restroom was clean and well maintained. The dining area is very spacious with no wait when I arrived. There’s a second dining area for weekend brunches and all-you-can-eat buffets that is equally as spacious as the primary dining room. There’s plenty of parking. They even have a drive-thru window. What a great setup here!

Kudos to the owners of this place that have such motivated workers to keep the restaurant clean. Brittany stopped for a minute but she’s gotta keep going with her work. The dinner crowd will be coming in soon.

Ice cold turkey wasn’t the best start into this local bbq spot experience. Mac and cheese lacked seasoning. Baked potato and extremely butter basic bread were the highlight of this meal. Grilled chicken sandwich (according my dining mates) was good. Ribs and Shrimp was good (according my dining mates) though the fish wasn’t completely cooked. It was a bumpy experience. Service was meh at the end of service, i made the server aware of the food issues and she didn’t seem to care. I even made it clear I wasn’t asking for anything to be removed from the check. It wasn’t busy so maybe she was distracted by something else. In any case, I can’t in good conscience fully recommend. Seems hit and miss.

Rocky is the sweetest waitress. The buffet is a wonderful way to start a Saturday. Local place with incredible food. I go here every time I’m in town from NC. Keep up the good work.

The meat here is AMAZING. I’d go as far as to say the best bbq in Jax/Callahan, and I’ve tried them all practically. The pig sauce is PHENOMENAL if you like mustard based bbq sauces. Now the sides? They could use work. The baked beans come from a can I can almost guarantee, and they give you a piece of plain bread with no butter or garlic. That said, I still come here all the time. Also, the banana pudding is good.

We found our self in Callahan this morning, wanting some breakfast. We were told that this was a place that served breakfast so we Unfortunately went ahead and tried it. We were greeted at the door and the waste staff was nice. The food was bland. We ordered The corned beef hash breakfast and a half order of biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. Do yourself a favor and do not order those biscuits and gravy as it is very bland and the sausage was dried out The corned beef hash taste like it came out of the can the eggs were cooked over medium as asked and the raisin toast was good but it had lots and lots of butter on it when it came out. The home fried potatoes were about the best thing of the whole breakfast and we’re cooked crispy with soft centers. All in all the food was in my opinion overpriced for what you got.

I got the surf and turf. I thought it would be steak however I think it was a slice of pork, a very thin slice. Mac and cheese was not good, the beans we ok.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I’ll definitely be back! The food was pretty good, a little bland but still pretty tasty. My favorite thing was honestly the corned beef hash, I absolutely love that stuff! The service was great! Our waitress was super prompt and very nice! My cup of tea was never empty and she explained all questions I had about certain things on the menu! The place itself is pretty clean and roomy which I definitely appreciate!

They Ran out of ribs and gave me some nasty meat instead. It was so bad. I had to hide it underneath my buttery toast. Turkey was good. They do have a drive-through and there’s plenty of parking. This restaurant is self seating and you have to wait in line and pay at the cash register when you leave. The corn on the cob was pretty good, but it was fried. Of course this is Callahan Georgia I mean Florida and I guess you get what you get here.

The food here is very, very good. Shout out to the kitchen staff for doing a great job. The servers are also very friendly and attentive.

Please note: the portions are big. Unless you are starving, you’ll be taking leftovers home.
