The service was far better than I expected with the waitresses being very attentive, kind, and welcoming. The food arrived quickly and was fresh, hot, and delicious. When we asked about their t-shirts, they went out of their way to look for sizes and to pick them out for us. I definitely felt the southern hospitality here.

The food is hot, fresh and amazing! I have never been disappointed with what I ordered. Try the pull pork loaded fries, you won’t be disappointed.
BUT let me add that I came to the drive through today and the lady saw my big dog and stopped to exchange kind words to him as he had just came from the vet. She got him a “pup food” which was a small cup with pulled pork in that. Such a kind gesture that will not be forgotten, they will continue getting our business !

Tried the steak plate tonight hesitantly because of the price, but let me just say, you get everything you pay for!! We ordered ahead food was hot and ready when we arrived. We walked in with no wait and we’re on the road home in five minutes. The portions were huge the steak was cooked properly and tasted amazing! I only wish I had some sour team for the potato but it was cooked beautifully as well. Best steak you can find without having to go to Athens!!

I haven’t tried a Philly after the last steak Philly I had at Pigskins that turned out to have almost as much fat as steak, but I had a chicken Philly today and it was amazing. So, SO good, very flavorful. I gave 4 stars because for a combo price of $10.69, I expect more than a handful of fried okra. The amount of okra was pretty disappointing, it was delicious and I wish there had been more.
I am excited that they accept cards now, with a $1 fee. Great improvement on the cash only.

The new place is great! Love the new menu too. The food was a little salty but not terrible. The staff were very young but amazing service. Absolutely will go back for the fried blueberry pie.

We had ribs with coleslaw and fried okra. The coleslaw was good. The okra was…unusually orange…but tasted fine. The ribs were a little dry and not as tender as they could have been, but they had a good flavor.

I tried the new location yesterday and the experience was not good. After calling in my order I had to wait 15 minutes for 1 of my meals which made the rest of my order cold when we tried the Mac and cheese it was very disappointing it tasted spoiled we couldn’t eat it and the fries were under cooked and greasy the cocktail sauce was frozen overall terrible experience for me don’t know if I will go back again. So sad was really hoping this would be a great option for danielsville since we are limited to what we can choose near by .

If you haven’t ate at the Pig in a while you should give it another try. I have to say this was a fantastic meal today. It is such an improvement from a year ago. The food used to be so greasy and soggy. Today my food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Thank you for being open on Sat. I’ll see you next week .
