Great dining experience! Started with the chiton ceviche, which was excellent! First time trying chiton, tasted like conch / abalone very tender. The grilled octopus and grilled shrimp entrees came with two sides and salad. Both were very flavorful, cooked well. Sea lion viewing!

The Pier restaurant in San Cristóbal absolutely blew us away! The food was incredible — the shrimp was so fresh it tasted like it came straight from the ocean moments before hitting the grill. And the lobster? Truly to die for. Every bite was perfection.
The drinks were just as impressive, expertly mixed and equally enjoyable. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely impeccable. To top it all off, the owner himself offered to make us a jar of his amazing homemade hot sauce — a gesture that made the experience even more special.
All in all, this was an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re looking for amazing food, warm hospitality, and a memorable time in the Galápagos, The Pier is absolutely worth the stop!

An absolutely magical experience, an amazing place is not just the great SAZÓN, but also the amazing vibe and service. The Pier is all of that, beautiful owners who care about each detail and receive you with love and care and make you feel welcomed from the moment you enter the place, but also… OMG THE FOOD, the food is the best we have had in Galapagos so far, delicious, amazing portions, little beautiful details as you saw in the pictures.

Amazing food! I went twice, the garlic shrimps were simply incredible. The first time the service was fast, second time I think I was unlucky as it was very crowded and a big group arrived just before me, I had to wait a lot. I would definitely recommend the place though! And the view is great, with sealions to watch.

Right in the end of the town, next to the sea, it is lit up by fairy lights. It has a rustic charm, but one of is great appeals are its hammock chairs. With the sealions on the rocks (and the street) just metres away, it is a great place to watch the sky turn purple after the sunset.
To eat, I had a tuna steak one day (a bit to salty for me, but that is the Ecuadorian way), another I had ceviche with lobster which was amazing.
They also do happy hour cocktails, 2 for $12. I mostly had caipirinhas which were amazing. Oh and they also bring you a bowl of delicious, freshly-made popcorn with your drink. I never liked popcorn before I came to The Pier!
It really was my favourite place and the one I returned to the most. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful place to enjoy a drink by the water or sit down for a truly scrumptious meal. It quickly became one of our favorite spots to meet people and relax, all while taking in the beautiful views of the ocean and its lively marine life. The restaurant has a true island vibe, complete with cozy swinging chairs that make you want to stay awhile. It was also some of the best food we had in San Cristóbal, made even more memorable by the warm hospitality of the family who runs it.

First we had brunch and ordered Bolon. They were so delicious. We also had iced tea and coffee.
The second time, we invited friends to join us for dinner. We ordered various seafood dishes that were all good to share and were all delicious!
