We went at 3:45 on a Sunday, ordered Rib Eye Steak Sandwiches. The meat was thick but very tender and tasty, the sauted onions were cooked to perfection, abs the hoagie buns were fresh but not too thick. The only improvement could be the sweet tea. Something seemed off about it.
This is a beautiful restaurant, classy yet comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional.
We will be back!

The food was fair. Not bad but not worth the money. Our waitress was sweet but we would constantly have to stop her to get her attention for anything. I ordered a steak medium but was very well done. I really miss back in the day….Jon’s Pier at Pickwick. It has never met that level since then through all the different owners. I will say the turtle cheesecake was DIVINE though.

We enjoyed our meal and service was good too. Another good food option around Pickwick!

I got the shrimp scampi with garlic mashed potatoes, veggie au gratin, and hushpuppies. It was all really good and I really liked the creamy sauce they put in the veggie au gratin.

My husband got the grilled grouper, baked potato, mac and cheese, and hushpuppies and he enjoyed all of his food too.

Went here after prefishing for a bass tournament and it looked nice on Google and probably one of the nicer looking places in the area. We went at about 7pm and the service felt rushed like they were trying to get us out of there as soon as possible. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich like I would at any place and 5 hours later had food poisoning. Heat flashes, nausea, puking, and everything involved in food poisoning. I couldn’t fish the second day of the tournament due to how bad it was. Im sure this is a good place to go to but I wouldn’t recommend going later in the evening when they are closing down for the day.

We had an amazing experience at the Pier. We ordered fettuccine and chicken Parmesan. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful. This experience will 100% have us coming back.

It was our first time there since the renovations. It’s much brighter and felt clean and fresh. We sat by the window and watched the baby deer feed. Service was immediate and my husband and I shared the grouper (huge portion, not fishy, well-cooked), baked potato and salad finished off with the brownie and ice cream with roasted pecans and caramel and chocolate sauce. Excellent preparation. Comforting all around. Will go back soon and try other offerings

Excellent service and very hospitable waitress. However, steak was 2X overcooked, the pasta cheese sauce was way too watered down, and the mac & cheese was dry and barely warm.
We chose pier for anniversary dinner –
Bill for 2 = $140.
Excellent dessert and appetizer – but those items aren’t made in house

We went about a week after they opened, hoping all of the kinks were worked out, and as far as we could see, they mostly were. Our server wasn’t that great, but the other servers and the owner picked up the slack.

The appetizer we ordered (Mozzarella Sticks) were made fresh, not frozen, and were on point. The marinara they served with was as good as you would get anywhere, also made on-site.

I ordered a steak, cooked to perfection (which I’m very picky about), a salad, and the house fries. All were excellent, the salad was fresh, with excellent dressing, the fries were made on-site fresh, not frozen. This meal was as good as many higher end restaurants that I have visited.

Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience, with excellent food, and service (even though our server was poor, the team made up for it). We will definitely be regulars here. An added bonus is that they have Coke Zero, which almost no restaurants in the area serve.

Stepping into Colby’s Pier under its new ownership feels like walking into a fresh, rejuvenated lakeside gem. The interior has received a thoughtful remodel. The menu is well-rounded from hearty steaks, fish, and pasta, to lighter fare like salads and fresh sandwiches. I had the ribeye and it was wonderful. Great overall experience.

My new favorite restaurant at Pickwick! The owner of this place also owns “The outpost” and this place is just a well managed!
Super friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, and incredible selection of food. We will certainly be back!
