Visited this wonderful bakery on a business trip, as recommended by a coworker, and it was great. I had the steak sandwich (recommended by customer) and it was really good. Great flavor, moist and juicy, and decent size. The huckleberry shake was one of the best I’ve ever had. Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Easy to find and park. I’d highly recommend.

Eight of us in the car club went to pie safe bakery. We had sandwiches and real Wood-Fired pizza. Delicious!. Their pastries are unbelievable, they were sold out by 11: 30 on the sweet rolls, they were that delicious. Wonderful staff! It’s one of those places that you don’t want to be discovered because you’ll never get a seat next time you go.

From the breakfast waffles and biscuits and gravy, to the Danish and Alfredo pizza, everything was delicious!

Ordering was easy, food was quick, and the ambience is like a country kitchen where you feel at home.

The orange pie was a cream cheese pie with mandarin oranges in it. One gave 4 people a decent dessert.

I highly recommend stopping here if you’re within an hour of the Pie Safe; you won’t be disappointed.

Who would have ever thought such an amazing place would exist in this tiny little hamlet of Deary?! It’s incredible! Brick oven sourdough pizza gets 8.5/10 on my pizza connoisseur scale.

The cheese looks fantastic. Breakfast sandwiches look good but I did not get to try because they went into lunch time so I got the pizza instead. Staff is very friendly. Quilts all over, honey, preserves, ironworks, yarn, other small things.

Decent coffee but it’s a barista machine so it’s not actually made barista style, it is good though.

Great story behind the genesis of the cheese and the family business. Very clean and modern up to date renovation of the building.

You’re a fool to pass up this place.

The place is super cute. They have a store inside the restaurant with items you can purchase for your kitchen. Everything we ordered here was extremely delicious. This place did not disappoint AT ALL. The pizza is cooked in a fire brick oven which gives it that extra delicious flavor. If you ever find yourself in this little town this place is a definite MUST.

Would give 10 stars if I could! Friendly staff, food DELICIOUS and served very quickly! Ordered the breakfast burrito and it has the most amazing sauce inside along with superb home cooked tasting ingredients like potatoes, eggs and sausage! Generous portions. The ambiance is phenomenal; the walls lined with locally made gifts, crafts of all kinds, foods, art, etc. You can also watch the Brush Creek Creamery Cheese Artisans at work from the gift shop room adjacent to the dining room. The cinnamon rolls, danishes, well, everything was wonderful!

Made a few stops to the bakery while spending time in the area, our first stop was for lunch, our sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. We visited again a couple days later and ordered a pizza. The mushroom and cheese pizza was very good and really hit the spot. Finally, we stopped in for an ice cream in a waffle cone and that was excellent. All in all, a must stop while passing through Deary, food is fresh, and the store is quaint and filled with interesting things.

My favorite part of The Pie Safe? The cheese. And the menu is different every time we go. And the food is always delicious. And taking a nice drive. And the fact that this absolute gem is relatively isolated & is thriving. You just can’t go wrong. The Labneh is great. They make the BEST blue cheese. I had the BEST Reuben there one time. Their coffee is very good. You can taste & buy their awesome cheese. Enjoy a nice drive & be rewarded with authentic homemade food.

The family that owns this place is so wholesome and kindhearted, they work so hard to make the best food and their effort really pays off! They have the best turkey sandwich with marinated tomatoes that I’ve ever had! I went here with my mom when I was visiting and the atmosphere was so inviting, would give it 15/10 stars!
