Great place for pizza. Looks like a nice hangout for college students as it’s only a block off of the Utah campus. Needs a pool table or shuffle board & only has one small TV for viewing

Very unique pizza experience. Had a good time with my friends and didn’t have to wait too long for food. Was only anxious because we had to get somewhere quick. Liked it a lot. Split a 32″ pizza between 7 people and it was great.

The food is beyond divinity i can only compare this to a pizza ive had across the country. The wait time is exponential. Me and my friends wanted pizza quickly and the pie did not disappoint. The authentic of the place is also amazing. Going outside back to your car for something feels like an experience because of the placement. Thank you for existing.

Think this the original location and is at the bottom of a stairwell. The brick walls inside have writing all over. Near the University of Utah, so gets packed with lots of students. The pizzas are pretty thick and doughy with good variety of toppings. They serve beer, which goes very well with the pizza and the unique atmosphere.

This is one of the coolest pizza joints I’ve ever been to. Normally, I don’t eat at any restaurant below street level, but this place rated well and they’re ain’t a whole lot of restaurants around here. The graffiti and tagging completely covering the walls invites you to add your own doodles. They have a great system for ordering and seating and the staff does a great job managing rush crowds from events at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The pizza was outstanding. Great thicker dough crust, generous cheese and toppings. Worth going out of the way for.

This ended up being a disappointment. It came well recommended & was in a cool location but the pizza wasn’t good. I preferred the Thai but no one else liked it at all and the only person who liked the All Meat pizza was my SiL. To make matters worse, we drove half an hour to get to it and the parking was hellacious. I had to drop everyone off & then walk half a mile back to the restaurant. That is what it is but there was no pay-off with great pizza. The crust was kind of doughy and for my family, the crust is the most important part of the entire production. It has to be crispy, but chewy. It just tasted low-grade. The toppings were OK, but not great and the red sauce was really bad. It tasted very much like cheap sauce from a can. I guess the people of Salt Lake just don’t understand what good pizza is based on the recommendations from locals and the Yelp reviews. I get it, I’m from Seattle originally and during my 40+ years living there, we had exactly 2 consistently good spots beyond one off, high end stuff from Tom Douglas that you had to go downtown for that was incredible but in no way standard pizza. I live in Las Vegas now and you can’t throw a rock without hitting a great spot down here. We had like 4 of the top-100 pizza spots in the US a couple of years ago & apparently, the closer you get to NV, the better the pies get because there were spots in Cedar City & hurricane, UT that made the list as well. As for this spot, if it comes to smash or pass, it’s pass for my family. There was so little meat on the chef salad, I had a hard time finding it so that was abfail as well

In my opinion, top 3 pizza places in the Salt lake area, if you know what to order. Be daring to try something different and new.
The only downside, which really is not but I know some boomers will complain about it… is how long it takes to cook a fresh pizza, be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for your food, or I don’t know, socialize?

The service and atmosphere is great. I use to come here a lot and I love it. Yesterday I went in with my sister and ordered a pizza on cauliflower crust because I have a non-celiac gluten intolerance. Cross contamination has never really been a issue for me, so as long as my food is made correctly I’m always okay. I double checked at the counter after ordering that they heard the cauliflower crust. Unfortunately my pizza was not made with that crust but rather their thin crust. Since it had been so long since I’d been here, I didn’t notice at first and ended up eating a slice. Learn from my mistake and always triple check. Great vibes though, just be careful with dietary restrictions.

Pizza so good that Dave Portnoy flew all the way to Utah to see what all the hype was about. 6.9/10 stars on the Portnoy rating, which is like 10/10 for a pizza place in Utah baby!!
