What a fabulous experience we had here! My husband and I visited during the very busy week after the 4th of July while we were out this way exploring the Peninsula.
Service was great; very attentive, friendly, and overall pleasant.
I loved the decor. There was so much to look at while we waited for our food.
And the food – wow! Pretzel bites, tenders with fries, half dozen wings, and a burger with fries for $60 before tip. That is a ton of food that was well worth the cost. (Food prices are up for everyone, restaurants included. Expect to pay more to dine out.)
All of the food tasted fresh and was served hot/cooked to temp. I asked for a side of pickles and my only sadness was not being able to finish them all.
Wonderful place all around and if we are ever back in the area, we will def stop here again.

Cannot say enough good things about The Pickled Wrinkle! Service was fantastic! Food was honestly the best we had on our trip to Maine. Shared the baked haddock plate w/ my grandmother & it was absolutely fabulous & plenty of food for both of us. The green beans & brussel sprouts were so good that I’m still thinking of them now. The lemon blueberry cheesecake was the perfect compliment to our meal. Totally knocked it out of the park! I’ll have to plan another trip just to come eat here again. Would highly recommend!

Let’s begin with the ambiance! Schoodic peninsula is gorgeous, we rented hybrid electric bikes and ended at the Pickled wrinkle, which was suggested to us from a local. The restaurant is tucked away from the main road and has plenty of seating inside and out. Nice little bar area decorated very nautical and cute.
The star of the show was the blueberry margarita – WOW! That alone was 5 stars. The food was decent, we got a salad and some chicken tenders and then the Brussels sprouts. As you walk in, they note that it might take extra time to make your food because it’s a small kitchen made to order but we were pleasantly surprised at how efficient they were! Our waitress was kind and helpful. If we were locals to this area definitely would be back!

Wicked awesome spot with the great Maine drafts & locally sourced eats. Enjoyed their fresh seaweed snack viewing a couple Sunday Football games. Delicious pizza varieties paired with that Hometown heartfelt service. Can’t wait for seconds

Lively little eatery with delicious food and an energetic atmosphere.I had the baked haddock with mashed potatoes and green beans drizzled with balsamic. It was quite a lot of food! My hubby tried a pizza with pineapple and a few cheeses, which was delectable with a crispy crust. A friendly staff rounded it out as a really great place to eat and relax.

We had a gf pizza that was pretty good. Would definitely get it again. We stopped in after walking around Schoodic for a late lunch. Our server was amazing, and everyone there working was nice. My wife loves to try weird and unique food. She enjoyed her pickled wrinkle. I did not try it. We’ll definitely stop back again when in the area.

The food was amazing, I just had a Pub Burger but it was cooked to perfection! We’ve had a big of a struggle with having decent waitstaff here in Maine, but not at The Pickled Wrinkle! Our server was attentive and checked in with us just the right amount ensuring our drinks never ran dry. When our regular server was busy with other tables some of the other servers stepped up and took care of us. The atmosphere was laid back but active and we loved it here after a long hike! I can see why people say this is a must stop and I couldn’t agree more!

Delicious menu, the baked haddock, roasted Brussels and mashed potatoes were tasty and ample, we split the dish. My husband ordered a pickled wrinkle (snail) and loved it. Lucy was friendly, efficient and delighful. Pet friendly on deck!
