It’s in “nowhere” Indiana so you know it’s legit when it’s packed with locals enjoying the bowling the food and the overall fun atmosphere. We were in town from out of state for a special event and had time in the afternoon and glad we found the pickle lounge and bowling!

Friendly hometown spot. Large menu with a lot of options. They seem to have a steady group of lunch regulars. Evening hours are inconsistent, I once arrived at 6:30 for dinner and they were already closing down for the night. Food is decent, portions are filling yet not overly large, you may want to add a side. Most of the menu is bar food or variations thereof. Right amount of flavor and spice. Service is quick and reasonably attentive. It’s an honest place for a good meal. Atmosphere is a tad disorganized, but it won’t ruin your appetite. Full bar though I can’t say I’ve had any adult beverages here.

The menu is extensive, which makes it a little difficult to choose from all the great options, but there’s something for everyone! I’ve never had anything that I didn’t love! The chef salad is exceptional! But we love the sandwiches and the pizza! You can’t go wrong!

I had dined here before with long wait time for our food. But at my last stop, things were better. The menu is large, possibly to large. They did not have the bone in wings so I had to choose another meal. Our party of 16 had beverages as need service was attentive and the meals came out in good time considering the # in our party. A reduction of menu options may help out the staff and customer experience. 3.5 stars on this visit
