The bartenders at this place really know their craft!! The service is exceptional. The atmosphere is inviting.
I’m also pretty sure this is the kind of place Bertolt Brecht had in mind when he wrote “Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)” because this place is stacked with a selection.
These bartenders honestly deserve 100% tips on the tabs, imo. You are going to be well taken care of, especially when Khris is working. Kudos!

Such a shame this place isn’t a busy spot. Always clean, bartenders ready to serve, DJ always plays good music. They have a good ambiance with booths, bar stools, and an out door space. Fun to get a drink with friends and hang out like you own the place.

I had a few drinks at the bar and the bartender was real cool and the atmosphere was very relaxed with a toned down music selection.

I was overcharged by a significant amount. My girlfriend and I order 3 drinks (1 Old fashion, 2 Compari Spritz) and The Burger and Chips and Salsa. They charged my card $279.00.

Burger @ $20.00
Chips and Salsa @ $9.00
Total 83.00
Plus a 20% tip = $99.60
However i TRY to tip will and gave SIGNED for $120.00 bill. Yet I was charged $279.00. I have attempted to contact them to get this resolved. NOTHING. I disputed with my CC, and they said the charge was valid.
GET YOUR RECIEPT and/or take a picture of it. Completely DISAPPOINTED.

One of my favorite bars in LA hands down. It has everything you want from a bar, plus the food here is out of control good. This bar has the ability to be an amazing sports bar, a night of live music sometimes, or just a great place for a drink or date. The main bar area is large and has high ceilings. in the back there is an outdoor patio and large area for seating. Overall amazing vibe and on the weekends they even have a dj who plays great music. highly recommend this spot, you almost forget your in LA here.

Didn’t know they had food here as I came late but did have some tasty old fashion drinks. They also had a live band that was very good. Great ambiance with great service. Did I mention their drinks were good!!! I’ll definitely be back!!

visited last night with a couple of friends. I ordered one drink that was definitely under $20. But as I checked my bank statement this morning, I was charged $50. My friend was also charged the same, voiced her concerns and was given an answer in regards to a ” pre-authorization” or something of that magnitude. We were not notified about this at the beginning of our visit. Other establiments do this. once again, we weren’t. as far as I’m concerned, we were overcharged. not good. not good at all
