The Pharm in Buffalo, Texas is a must-try! The chicken fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, with perfectly cooked mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts that were absolutely amazing. The sweet tea can’t be beat. Mr Hoffman had the fish and shrimp special with onion rings, and it really hit the spot. Amazing customer service and friendly staff!

I love trying places that we can’t get back home. This is one of those places. The Fried Green Tomatoes and Texas Toothpicks were great. We also ordered the fried fish, the chicken tenders, the BLT, and the special, which was chicken enchiladas. The only negatives were the enchiladas (they were not good) and the BLT. I ordered it because I wanted to try it with the blueberry bread. They should have mentioned that they hadn’t had blueberry bread in three months, I would have ordered something different. The server was pleasant, though. Overall, it was a good experience!

Photos of menu posted were out of date. Meal prices were $5-$10 more expensive than than the pictures of the previous menu shared. The waitress said people complain about it all of the time but that nobody there could post an up to date menu, so you’re welcome. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. There was a lot of extra breading, which still tasted great dipped in gravy.

The club sandwich was too salty with the bacon being the thickest cut of the meats on the sandwich. Chips were not sold here. The blueberry bread pudding would have been great but it was way too sweet. I can add salt to the sandwich if needed or sugar to the pudding but it’s impossible to remove. The fish was excellent, the hushpuppies were good but cold, the turnip greens were excellent. The banana pudding wafers were powdery.

Great homemade southern fried cookin. Sweet tea is as sweet as it should be it’s like a sip of the South with every drink. The prices are very reasonable and for the quality that you’ll be receiving in regards to the food. The waitress was very nice and handled quite a few amount of tables at the same time. They did seem a little understaffed as the waitress could have used more help. The blueberry bread pudding the super tasty and the great caveat for the meal.
