This place is under new ownership and since they serve halal food, we decided to check it out. First impressions were very good. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and nicely laid out. The staff was excellent and very patient in answering our questions.

We ordered at the counter and Rudi, who helped us, was professional, courteous, and genuinely attentive. When it came time to pay, I noticed the tax amount on the terminal did not seem right for the total. I went ahead and paid, but after receiving the printed receipt I saw an 8.9% sales tax + a 5% service charge. That immediately raised concerns. I am not aware of sales tax being that high in this area, and the service charge was not disclosed anywhere on the menu, walls, or counter. It only appeared on the printed receipt, which most customers may not even request.

To Rudi’s credit, he took the initiative to call the owner, who spoke with me directly. The owner was polite, professional, and genuinely seemed new to the business. He explained that he took over a couple of months ago and was still learning the operational side. While I believe some of the information shared about taxes may be incorrect, I did not sense any intentional wrongdoing. He was receptive to feedback and said he would look into both the tax rate and the service charge.

The owner offered a discount and even a refund, both of which I declined, and ultimately insisted on giving us a complimentary dessert. That gesture, along with his willingness to listen, changed my overall impression.

We ordered the beef Philly steak burger and the spicy chicken wrap combo. Everything was freshly made, well portioned, and enjoyable overall, with the peri peri fries being a nice touch. The presentation deserves a big thumbs up as well.

I am leaving this review with optimism. The food, staff, and environment were all solid, and I especially want to recognize Rudi for handling the situation with professionalism and care. I hope the tax and service charge issues are reviewed and corrected for transparency and compliance. New halal businesses deserve support, and with a few fixes, this place has the potential to do very well.

I visited Peri Peri Grill on its grand opening day and tried a variety of dishes. I started with the peri peri steak loaded fries, which were flavorful and satisfying. For the main course, we ordered the beef Philly steak burger, the Periville crispy chicken burger, and wings, everything was fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. To end on a sweet note, we tried the Dubai chocolate brownie with ice cream, which was the perfect dessert. Overall, I loved the ambiance and the quality of the food. Definitely worth visiting!

I came to Peri Peri grill for the first time with a friend for lunch and I really enjoyed my visit. The restaurant was small but clean with only about 6 or 7 tables but they weren’t too busy. The decor is simple, cozy, and laid back and the staff was friendly. We ordered falafel, 1/4 spicey Peri chicken combo with rice, and spicy chicken sandwich combo with fries and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. All the food tasted very fresh and flavorful but somehow the falafel order got missed and I had to go back up front to re-order and pay for it separate. The falafel itself was nice and crisp on the outside but the inside seemed a bit underdone and slightly mushy. I still enjoyed it but there are a couple other places not too far from this place that have better falafel. The spicy Peri chicken with rice and chicken sandwich/fries all tasted fresh and flavorful. Only one visit in and I feel like I’m hooked on those sauce flavors. There are several other things on the menu that I really would like to try so I look forward to coming back again.

We had a fantastic experience at Peri Peri Restaurant! We tried the whole chicken, mango smoothie, and Oreo milkshake. The falafel bites were okay, but the loaded chicken fries were the real showstopper. The chicken was tender, and the fries were an easy pick for the kids. I loved that you could choose between different sauces—it’s a great place to try something new. Plus, their food is halal, hormone-free, high in protein, and gluten-free. Highly recommended!

Ordered take out. I can’t wait to come back and sit. I want to try all their sauces lol. Nice small Halal spot. I had the Chicken Rice Bowl with lemon and herb sauce. It had a spicy kick I loved so much. It was unexpected. Very big bowl for the price. Plenty of food. Rice has black beans, corn, and sweet peas. Very good freshly made. Tasted as such anyway .

Tiny spot not so big. But Big flavors

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and loved it! The chicken wrap and perimayo sandwich were outstanding! Super fresh ingredients and the chicken is great. The Okra is the best we have ever had and you have to try the corn too.
