My son, daughter, and I all did a tandem jump together on the same day, here at SkyDive Deland, 12 years ago. What a blast we had!
We came back today for lunch, and had a fun time watching some of the skydivers landing before our meal arrived. Excellent service, and the food was delicious. Prices for sides and drinks added up quickly though. But all-in-all we really like this restaurant, it’s still good value for money and convenient to anybody close to the airport.
Plus, if you’re an aviator person like myself, you’ll love all the memorabilia, plaques, and stories on the walls, which document some of the history of the place. Very interesting.
(Only reason I didn’t give it five stars for atmosphere, was because we were sitting under blasting ceiling air conditioner vents, which couldn’t be adjusted apparently. That was the booth in the very center of the restaurant. Just make a note of where you’re sitting if you don’t like cold blowing air on you.)

Very fast with taking order for drinks and ordering food!!! Might have been 6-8 mins to receive my order! My order was a black and blue burger (medium rare) with extra crispy french fries. Everything was absolutely amazing!

Green beans good. Broccoli okay. Had sloppy Joe dpecial…fries near cold. Sloppiness hot but very bland. Husband go fish with rice and black beans and the black beans seemed very old. Then took forever to get someone to give box to go and bill as seemed bingo more important.

Great food! Our server, Garrett was awesome! Cool spot to watch the skydivers and planes on a nice day. Great prices also. We’ll be back soon! It’s really the perfect spot!

No service at all. Came in asked if we could sit outside waitresses said to sit wherever we want . let us without asking if we needed any drinks or menus. Waited 15 minutes went and got my own menu then my friend went in to get drinks and still couldn’t get waited on. I’ll never go back.

We called Shelby to set up our daughter’s graduation and 18th birthday party for family. She put together several appetizer options. We choose the wings. They were tasty, they provided ranch and all we needed. Then for our meals, everyone order on their own. They were all complementary of the taste and quality of their meals. She also gave us a table and wall space to decorate. Dave and his team made sure we were well taken care of. Their service and interactions were so great! Since our daughter will be attending ERAU, this was really was the Perfect Spot for our celebration.

This place is awesome, came in around 2, no one was really there. Loads of rain coming our way!! So no divers, but it was great! The bartender is awesome and so is her friend that was there! Food was great! Buffalo wrap and Burger rocked, star of the show was the fries! Best I’ve had in a long time!! Outside seating and loads of room inside too! Stop in this gem!!! Love it!!!

I’ve been going to watch skydivers land and this spot for over 7yrs . I believe the restaurant has changed over menus a few times and the most recent is best. Lots GF options and fresh made. I had the Tuna Bowl but it did seems like it was missing something….Cilantro? Ginger? Idk, but tasted bit bland. It was all fresh cut and it’s why probably it took over 45 min to come out from kitchen. The place was busy inside but only one other table outside. I think the problem was that the bartender was taking care of the whole place. I’ve been in this industry myself for over 15 yrs so I know how it can get, but this was the second time I’ve seen this hapen.
I also took away a half star because no decent coffee option and the young kid that came to ask if we needed anything else (not the girl behind bar) didn’t even know the desert options.
Glad there were lots jumpers that day skydiving, so atleast to keep us entertained while food was being preped.

Great place to hang out! Servers and management are so nice and welcoming and the people here are incredibly friendly. Great food as well, the buffalo chicken wrap was delicious. It’s also so fun getting to watch the skydiving. Just a great vibe overall, definitely recommend!

Went on a weekday afternoon for lunch. Not so much a restaurant as a canteen & hangout for jumpers. Booth was dilapidated, service was sparse despite most tables being empty. Had to ask for everything… utensils, missing parts of order, correct sides per order (they somehow got mixed up with our 2 sandwiches). Only at the end of the meal did service pick up when a young man came over to check on us, do drink refills, and clear dishes. Had to hunt someone down to pay. This was an experience we will definitely repeat!
