Food was delicious! My favorite was the Turkey’ juicy and soft with the right amount of seasoning!! Brisket was okay bit salty and flavor was off but still juicy. Ribs we’re really good as well. The sides baked beans, potato salad, sweet potato pie, Mac&cheese and fries were equally delicious no comment on that. I’d come back.

The food was real good the staff is nice and they have babys chairs and boosters seats. They also have out door patio area with fans. No kids menu but my kid love the mac n cheese the price are good. They also have a awsome bar and pool area would recommend this place over all ! Ps the bathrooms are super clean.

I was super excited for the idea of a bbq spot opening near us and since my 7yo had gotten hungry after a dental visit, I decided to go pick up her fav food, mac and cheese. When I got there, I was impressed with the decoration and vibe. But when I looked at the menu my heart sank. For 1 tiny cup of mac and cheese, it costed 3.99. I genuinely came here with high hopes, I was thinking of bringing my whole family up until now. See pics for reference. I would say my hand size compared to the cup is average size. But the cup is so small that I can probably fit 2 cups in it. Only one size which is super small and very expensive. I had to buy her 2 smalls and that wasn’t enough, she could still eat more and she is a slim child. But buying just those 2 sides cost $9… for small mac and cheese. That’s the cost of a meal elsewhere. I had already made the promise to my daughter for it so I didn’t gripe. But I will never come back and I want to warn others, this place is mostly a family cosmetic outing, not to fill your belly for a reasonable or even slightly expensive amount of money. Also, I tasted some of the mac and it is only OKAY. Not super delicious for $9. I hope the owner can recognize this and realize that sometimes people might just only want sides. And this is not a dig because a bbq place is perfect in this area and the people working seemed to be working really hard as they had a lot of pick up orders but the hardworking might be the reason for overlooking some details like food to price ratio. Also these days, restaurants should absolutely be looking out for food review influencers who make random appearances. These days a review can make or break you. Take Keith Lee for example.

brisket was fire very soft. ribs were good. jalapeño cheddar sausage was good but I didn’t taste any cheese or heat. Hopefully later they add more sides. normally I’ll complain about watered down sauces but this bbq sauce couda used some thinning out. maybe self serve bread onions n jalapeño n sauce would be more ideal. I was limited to 5 pcs jalapeño and the butt end of the bread which was hard. overall we will be visiting again but hopefully they speed up the preparation, my friends burger took almost 45 minutes

Today was my 1st visit to The Perfect Rack and let me tell you it was Perfect! Everyone from the cashier to the back was sooooo awesome! I got my food in no time with all the trimming! Price and food prices were worth the price to me and let’s be honest, it’s hard to find a place where brisket and chicken was so moist and Not Dry! I’ll pay the money! I also purchased the 3 desserts and they were delicious! I’ll be back and Thank you Perfect Rack for the perfect 1st time experience! I will be back!

Family owned and operated. This restaurant gives South Houston a much needed change from tacos and burgers. The service was on point. I took both my sons and they loved the food and decor. This place will be one of our family’s go-to spots. Go give it a try!

Absolutely amazing BBQ. Even though barbecue isn’t usually my favorite kind of food, this place completely won me over. The ribs were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and with a texture that just melts in your mouth. Every bite was packed with smoky, well-balanced flavor (that different bbq love) that made me stop and truly appreciate how good BBQ can be. If you think you’re “not really a BBQ person” , this spot will absolutely change your mind. It’s that good, the drinks and atmosphere are top tier. I was blessed to be attended by Mariah & Karen who brought out such light with service. 10/10 management included making sure everything was on the go (express service). I will definitely be visiting again! Thank you crew – god bless!

We didn’t get to try the meats because the storm shut down some services. We wanted to try Texas BBQ. However, as we were leaving a gentleman talked to us to explain and then gave us chili to try as a gesture of appreciation for checking them out. The chili was amazing. If it’s not on the menu regularly, it should be. Our Uber driver smelled it and she said it smelled delicious. If I am ever in town again, I would give it another try.
Only reason I did a 4 star on service was because the girl who was going to take our menu didn’t explain they had ribs or try to get us to try other food. Had we talked to this gentleman at first, we probably wouldn’t have called an Uber so quickly.

Okay, food is good…. really good. My family came to give it a try and we had the brisket, sausage, chicken and the turkey. For sides, we had the sweet potatoes, Mac and cheese and baked beans. All the entrees were flavorful and juicy.

Food was phenomenal! Had their pulled pork sandwich special today, man, talk about flavor. The meat was so juicy . The owner even let me try their turkey, hands down, best bbq turkey in town. Their yams were bomb. Not overly sweet, chefs kiss. Highly recommend
