We absolutely loved The Perch! It’s the kind of food that is so high quality and is plated so beautifully that you almost don’t want to eat it. The service was also top notch, Carrie was wonderful both nights. All the servers made an incredible team, helping each other out cleaning tables, filling water and bringing food. It was great to see. See below for some amazing food.

feel with wonderful windows with spectacular views. Our server Carrie was wonderful. We decided on the Chef’s Tasting menu for two at her recommendation. Fabulous for first timers to ger to know menu. The portions were large and we were quite full by the third course. The salad, beef filet, and tempura shrimp were highlights. The desserts were unique and creative. We had to split one and take the other home.

We had an absolutely incredible meal and evening at The Perch. We were there for a special occasion, so it was wonderful to have any expectations we came in with completely blown out of the water. All the staff were welcoming and efficient, the space was beautiful, and the food was just fantastic. We were there to celebrate so we had starters (crab toast and tuna crudo), entrees (gnocchi and steak frites), cocktails (Last Word, Boulevardier, and Manhattan), and even two desserts (the chocolate hazelnut and apple compote). We were even generously comped some prosecco to cap off what was one of the most memorable nights out we’ve had in ages. I could go on about how great the food was, but it all boils down to the chefs’ eye for detail—not only was everything beautiful to look at, but each dish exemplified how great food can be when all the components, both flavors and textures, are ideally balanced. The tiny perfect vegetables, a well-placed bit of flaky salt, a crunchy toasted hazelnut, preternaturally light gnocchi, gorgeously precise medium rare, nicely balanced cocktails that weren’t overly sweet…we were practically giddy by the end. I’m already looking forward to returning for our next big occasion, hopefully when the days are longer so we can take advantage of the beautiful mountain view.

The Perch is an absolute gem. Huge kudos to Howard Wein and Co for bringing this unique place to our area. We went for the first time and fell in love the moment we walked in – the space is warm, intimate, and beautifully designed, with plush seating and cozy seating nooks, a gorgeous bar and stunning mountain views.
We had small plates and cocktails in their lounge area (complete with a toasty fireplace). The food was exceptional, and the cocktail program really shines—there’s a great mix of old-school favorites (my Manhattan was spot-on) alongside creative, fun new options to explore, and their wine list is equally impressive.
Between the lounge/bar area and the restaurant area, this place offers both stylish cocktail-hangout vibes as well as an elevated, special-occasion feel. Looking forward to coming back here again and again.

We had a truly exquisite meal here at The Perch this past weekend. The geographic setting is beautiful – great views day or night. And the restaurant – wow – remarkable. It is modern, but cozy; elegant, but casual. An exceptional balance, across the board. The food was incredible; on par with anything you will find in Boston or NYC, and the staff were so incredibly kind. Highly recommend!

Run don’t walk – incredible everything. The tempura shrimp was the warm hug I didn’t know I needed until that warm feeling came over me, and I think I shed a tear. And don’t get me started on the orange, pistachio cheesecake! Howard has done it again… what a gift to The Valley – I can’t wait to go again.

Beautiful design. Service was excellent. Cocktail menu look really well developed. Had the best martini of my life. Menu is small but that’s what you expect when the food is this well thought out. Brussels were outstanding as were the entrees. Highly recommend. Great addition to the valley restaurant scene.

Service was fantastic. We had a drink in the lounge before dinner with great views of the snow covered area. Drink offerings were unique and delicious. The cornbread and fingerling potatoes were amazing. My filet was one of the most tender ones I have had in a while.
