Old person heaven. Early bird specials for all. Get there at 4:00 PM, and you’d be too late. That’s the prime dinner rush.

As mentioned by other reviewers, The Peppermill does draw an older crowd. As a dining group of one couple in our 40s and a couple in their 70s, this was fine. Overall, it was a solid dining experience. Everyone liked their food – cream of crab soup, oyster stew, coconut shrimp, lamb lollipops, beet salad, and prime rib. They provided large dessert portions for a very reasonable $5 or $6. And made good cocktails – Manhattans and Tom Collins. I found the star of the experience was our excellent server Debbie. She was amazingly fast and attentive without seeming intrusive or rushed. This isn’t my favorite restaurant because it’s not my favorite type of food, but I think they do well for their niche.

Quiet, Delicious, and won’t brake the bank. Ideal to take your Grandma or senior relatives. Do not bring loud kids, or you’ll ruin the atmosphere. Handicap accessible. Plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and well mannered. I’d recommend the Crab Pasta and the Baltimore chicken.

As soon as we entered the building two lovely ladies greeted us and brought us to our seats. We immediately got succulent warm dinner rolls and tea. We ordered the Aussie soup, which is a modified Onion soup, but a hundred times better. We also ordered The beet salad, which was excellent. A Shrimp salad sandwich — magnificent! We topped our lunch with a Jewish Apple cake with melted caramel sauce a’ la mode. Heavenly!

My friend took me to this place as he really likes their food, and I agree too. We ordered Crab pasta and Chicken Baltimore. Both were very good but I wish those were little bigger in portion. Overall nice experience

We went there for a family lunch. The restaurant was very accommodating for our large party. We had 3 appetizers and all had full meals. The food was all prepared exactly as ordered. The whole experience was fantastic.

Food quality, price, and amount was all top notch. I was actually surprised about the average cost for the area of the restaurant and its renovation.

Had lunch at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little like Cheers in that all the regulars knew each other. Mostly an older crowd, everyone very friendly. I had fish and chips and a soft drink – $25 all in. Good service too.

I ordered the Crab Pasta which was good. A cup of Cream of Crab which was way too thick, didn’t have any seasoning or flavor. The hot French fries was put in a plastic container, which caused the container to melt & cause holes. This was my 1st time trying out this Restaurant. Not a good experience for my first time. Now I can say I have been to The Peppermill Restaurant.
