My experience with this small business has been very pleasant. Being a small business owner myself, I understand it is not always easy to please everyone. And I am simply here to show my gratitude and appreciation for the good food and the good effort of the owners. Thank you going the extra mile

Not happy I got goat and this plate was mostly rice for 25.00 the goat tasted old as if it was leftovers. And the goat was tough and mostly fatty. The kitchen was not as clean as I would expect the pots they were cooking out of was old and burnt. First and last time I go there.
The ladies were sweet. But that it.

Honest review: food is amazing. Best naija food I’ve had in LA. I recommend ordering in advance if you plan to pick it up. Ordered stewed goat (tasty, spicy, soft meat), beans & plantain (this slapped omg! I’m saving some just to eat more tomorrow), jerk & jollof (spicy, smoked, and juicy chicken), and beef suya (tasted like authentic naija suya). Highly recommend! We will def be back for more.

Took a 60 $ Uber from the airport because of the picture I saw on Google. Very appetizing. Only to get there and they were not even opened but rather redirected me to another branch in downtown.

$$ very good and reasonably priced Nigerian food. Portions are also good. I had 2.5 days meal out of this ( full disclosure: did make my own fufu for the 0.5 day. LOL).
It’s located in a building that houses multiple kitchens so don’t be looking for a restaurant oo. It’s take out only. That maybe why it’s prices are good. This was the Van Nuys location.

This is my second time trying this spot and will be the last. Bc it’s alot closer drive than Aduke. The jollof rice was dry. The suya was the same textured beef as the the stew beef. It was cut up beef with NO seasoning. The stew beef in this tiny container with a little sauce wasn’t even spicy in the least bit. The Jamaican beef patty looked raw so I didn’t even try it. A waste of 50.00 and a drive from the Valley. Smh. So disappointing. I will just have to drive to Inglewood. Yes the staff in that kitchen in nice. But that’s it.

When you don’t have a device, then you get no food. This location wants its customers to forcefully
use their own device to order. The owner of this restaurant has no care for its customers. It doesn’t offer a menu with pictures of the foods as well as the ingredients. The male that is there, it’s very disrespectful with its words just because I ask for a menu and inform him I am not capable of using my device to order from it’s restaurant.

I had been craving Efo Riro (vegetable soup), pounded yam, and Jollof for a while now and was told to try The Peppered Goat. I ordered Jollof and chicken and it did not disappoint!! That rice was so good and the chicken was cooked to perfection falling off the bone. I do like my rice a little spicier as I am accustomed to about 3 habaneros but it was still good! The man that greeted me was super nice as well. I can’t wait to go back for the pounded yam and vegetable!
